Back with yet another poem, so brace yourselves.
Blinking through the Crack
Through my eyes
I've seen a lifetime,
You see a young man,
but through my eyes
I am old and frail.
I find that every moment that passes
I become more detailed & indepth.
Through my eyes,
Words from the heart
are as precious as pearls of wisdom.
You can look to me
And see me visually,
But never see me,
As through my eyes
I am unreachable.
They have searched for Me,
But they failed miserably.
I find that anywhere I go
Is non-existent to you
But through my eyes it is home
When I feel trapped
I close my eyes
And venture to a place
I'ld much rather be.
Because through my eyes,
This is where I do not belong
But as here I am now,
I'll take no advantage.
And wisdom & truth I will Attain.
Trough my eyes,
I am a secret
You will never know.
But look to me & see
That I am very versatile.
Only what you think me to be.
