Refill blues

Lately I've been refilling the cartos and they are gettin' this odd clogged feeling, I don't get it. .. and it's a really weak draw afterward too. not to mention no matter how good I fill it up, it lasts for a few vapes and starts to taste empty again. I haven't done anything different than I did first time I started refilling them. This happen to anybody else?

Filler type Carto's are a disposable item, there good for anywhere from 8-15ml's of juice to be ran through them then to be disposed of. There are people who go through boiling them and cleaning them but in my opinion there never the same after. Stock up or grab some good Atty's they last for months if ya treat them right.

OK, so you said "Lately". Do you think the cartos are different now, or is your juice different? What else changed?

Just gathering facts.

Gunked carto syndrome is what you are describing, IMO.

Using the same juice.. the cartos are newish... just got them a few weeks ago. This is happening on the first time I refill them. I have new batteries too, and passthrough. Can't get a nice smooth hit out of them anymore after the refill. I have trad tobacco flavor, so I buy trad tobacco prefills every month...

You could try thinning the juice a bit either with PG or water. Only need a few drops. Sometimes if it's too thick it will gunk stuff up faster. Once the filler starts to get too hot, it's not going to function properly. It has to stay wet.

I'd experiment using a small 3 ml bottle and a drop or two of water/PG. See if the next refill is better.

Just a guess. 2 cents. We'll see if anyone else has this.

I think that's true of just about every vaping item, except mods that use replaceable batteries. After smoking very disposable items for 40 years, if something lasts more than 5 minutes, I'm impressed!
