hi. I recently purchased a Greensmoke e-cig starter kit for my boyfriend and a E9 battery for myself. I like vaping and find myself vaping more than when I smoked analogs. Anyhow. My boyfriend is ok with the pre-filled cartomizers but I like the variety of flavors with e-juices.
I found a vaping store in my neighborhood but the guy sells Halo hardware and juices.
I'm on the fence about buying the Halo harware because I'm not sure how I feel about refillable cartomizers. Can't i just buy the empty E9 carto's and buy the Halo juice ?
What does everyone think about the refillable 2 piece systems like the Halo?
I was seriously thinking of buying a 3 piece Joye 510 but I want something with a longer battery life. I don't think I'd mind using the e-juices at home and maybe the E9 battery when I'm out and about.
Any suggestions ???

The Halo KR808 and the Joye 510 will have about the same battery life which isn't long compared to a bigger battery pv.

If you're OK with that, refilling your own cartomizers is the way to go. It's cheaper, I think they taste better and they seem to last longer than prefilled cartos. Halo is a good supplier and people that have their kits seem to love them. You can use any KR808 carto on the halo battery and fill it with your own juice or Halo juice.

Carts and carto's are all considered disposables . The fact that you can refill most of them , is a big plus in their favor , and they're pretty cheap as well. If you don't like the juice in those carto's , you can always just clean out the juice and put in your own flavor . Just try to stay in the same family of juices ., such as tobacco flavors , fruit type flavors , coffee , and desert flavors . Some of those won't work too well together , while others might rock . I added peaches and cream to a RY4 and it tasted great . So you never know . And welcome to ECF , by the way .

Refillable two piece systems are great and cartomizers are very convenient. The only drawbacks are that you will generally get a hotter vapor with atomizers, and of course they are much easier to change flavors with. Beyond that, refillable cartomizers are a great place to start. If you are looking for longer battery life, however, I would definitely look into some of the bigger battery kits like this T-Rex that come with cartomizers right out of the box. Note that these are usually not prefilled, however, so you still have to buy e-liquid.
