WOW I forgot to say MANUAL battery. that doesn't happen often. Dripping is not recommend on auto batteries.

And re cartos -

If you liked the flavor in the carto and you have a compatible flavor, you can just start topping it off with the new flavor, and the two flavors will blend and eventually become mostly the new flavor. And if you have a good plain vanilla and a good tobacco, then one of those will be compatible with almost anything.

If you hated the flavor in a prefilled carto and hardly vaped it then it may be worth cleaning and drying. See the carto cleaning kit at smoktek.com and you may need to bake the cleaned cartos to get them dry (175F for hours)

If you are testing new juices, I do not recommend using cartos at all. Use a standard atomizer and drip tip on a manual battery. If you don't want to use a manual then use an atomizer and cartridges. I do not kow what model you have but here are atomizers you can use on some cartomizer models

KR808D-1 (V4L,Volt,Bloog, G6, V2, etc) standard resistance DSE901 atomizer

KR808D-2 (Greensmoke etc) D2 to D1 adapter from LeCig, + a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer

Blu - standard resistance 510 atomizer or 306 atomizer

Standard resistance is 2.5 to 3 ohms and I usually get them at LiteCigUSA.net

Taste will definitely be affected if you refill a carto with a different flavor, to what extent depends on what flavor was in their initially ....

I recently refilled a carto with RY4 that previously had Flue cured Tobacco in it .... the first refill wasn't bad although I could taste the mix, but by the next refill I could not taste the prior flavor.

I would never attempt this if the first flavor is a strong one ...... Also washing the carto before refilling with a new flavor can make for a successful transition.

Yes but it's not necessary to waste a $2 carto just to try a juice you may not like. That's why I suggest testing juice on an atomizer.

As far as mixing goes - I was talking about, for example, if you had a strawberry prefilled carto and had no strawberry to refill it with, you could start topping it off with vanilla and it would become strawberry vanilla and eventually mostly vanilla and would probably taste great. And if you have a plain tobacco you like, you could top off any tobacco and it will eventually become plain tobacco. Just a way to get full use out of prefilled cartos without cleaning.

Cleaning the cartos improved the amount of left over flavor, but could never get rid of it completely. Best advice is to use a new one. Keep the old carto with the same flavor, fill it up, throw the condoms on and hit it at another time. If you hated the flavor don't waste good juice mixing it with the old flavor you disliked.
