Refilling carts too often!

I started vaping on a KR808-D1. I combined my KR808-D1 batts with 901 atomizers, now I've moved on to the Joye eGo. One resounding problem I've been having is constant refilling! I feel like I refil so much I should just get a drip tip! The carts are still wet, but atomizers go dry fast. Even if I let them sit for 5 minutes so they can wick more I still might get one more hit before their dry again. I pull the cart, put three drops in which usually is where it starts to pool pop it back on and get 5-10 more good draws before it starts getting dry again. This is irritating at best. I didn't have this issue with the KR cartomizers, but I also didn't like the burning material. When I hit my PV I do take huge hits, but I still expect the carts to wick better than this.

Before anyone says it I'm waiting on my order of Edition 2 Cartomizers, but in the meantime I'm looking for any ideas on why it goes dry so quickly.

If you are using standard carts, I would say that's the problem. Try a cart mod like Blue foam or Zero filler Mod. You will still be refilling carts, but at least they will be out of juice first.

I'm still working the issues with the ZFM. I have the Amazing Silcone Putty stuff, but I keep having issues with vacuum holding the liquid in the cart. When I added an air hole it would leak. I haven't tried the air hole with the eGo 510 carts yet though. If I get a chance I'm going to punch some test plugs out tonight. I hope it works.

The other thing that concerns me is when it gets dry the vapor I get burns the back of my throat and the edges of the cartridge in the eGo look melted.

Top off as soon as you realize the flavor drops off.
Also make sure you line up the cart with the atty like in this picture.

I have had great success using blue foam, you may want to give it a try. I had no luck at all trying to make the ZFM.

Make sure it's the marineland blue foam

I'm using white Fluval foam... same stuff... works dandy. Carts vape dry.

I didn't have a few bucks to experiment with, so I wanted Tried and true. I was overwhelmed when I went to the pet store and also they wanted $8 for the white fluval polishing pad. (if that's the one you are using)

You can get the foam from most pet stores, I happened to buy mine online.

Ya it works great I got mine from strictlyejuice it was only .75 cents for a precut pack of 10.
