Refilling Genesis Style RBA

So I have a Genesis Style RBA and finally got it up and running. It is a great vape after a short break in of about 1/3 of a tank. I have replaced the chrome with a clear window so I can see when I need juice. I have tried to fill it up with a needle bottle through the fill hole but the juice wants to come up out of the wick and make a mess. This last time I filled up, I took the fill screw out and needled down through the wick. It was not messy and did not seem to cause any issue with performance.

Is this a proper method or is there an easier, better way to refill.

I use an 18ga blunt tip needle, and put the end nearly all the way to the bottom, and fill slowly. If you try to fill too fast, juice will either come up through the wick, if the wick has a center hole; or juice will back up through the fill hole.

I will try that. I need to get a longer needle tho. Is it common practice to leave the fill screw out because I am finding that I get a much better vape when I do.

3" Stainless Luer Lock 16 Gauge Blunt Needle from avid vapor works awesome also look into ntt glass syringes. i had just the plastic ones for a while, this website sell some neat syringes. they are glass, and so much easier to use than the cheapy plastic ones. i have the 2ml & 5ml . they run about 10 to 15 dollars each. you use one of those 3in needles from avid with the glass syringe and your in business.

yes, it works better out, there is no vacuum that way and the wick can draw fluid better.
