Have had ego-t and ego xl cartos since Dec 21st and already I am finding the vapor just too wimpy. Even with up to 18mg nic.

It's like smoking a Silk Cut or an ultra light without having first ripped off the filter; unfulfilling, frustrating and an ecercise in futility.

I now only drip with my ego reg ohm atty (tanks and xl cartos gone in the box) as it is the only thing that gives me that 'Aah, I'm done, I don't want a cig now' feeling.

Will try some lr cartos and perhaps the new lr tank atty.

But what gets me is this.

Why do the companies make such wimpy products? I'd bet a lot of ex smokers would not be satisfied (once the novelty wore off) with the vape a standard ohm 510 carto or tank gives... I'm not and I only smoked 2 packs a week!!

I'm kinda peed off about the money I have spent and now I have to shell out on either new LR aties and cartos or a higher voltage device.

Rant over.

I hear ya. I think this thing (vaping) has potential but at the same time, sometimes I feel it's just wishful, thinking, wanting to have one's cake and eat it and still feel like one is smoking...

how far can you to towards replicating smoke without it - being smoke...

I will definitiely try the lr route before I quit trying to quit though.

I've seen a lot of your posts and threads, and you are clearly searching for something more.

Although you are not the only one that has been smoking two packs per day, you seem to need a lot more of something than most.
At this point it is hard to tell why that is though, or what that something might be.

What exactly is it that you are craving?
--More vapor?
--More throat hit?
--Still trying to find flavors that you look forward to?
--Somthing else?
--Something you can't put your finger on?
--All of the above?
--Some combination of the above?

There are answers for every issue, if you can just figure out what you're missing.

I will say this though, I am almost certain that you need to go high voltage.
With stock 510 models and Egos you are currently vaping at 3.2v under load, and that is as low as you can go.

Even a basic "true" 3.7v model will be an improvement in many areas for you.
Things can only get better for you as you go higher voltage.

But yeah, trying LR is a good first step in the right direction.
