ok guys, i need help.
I'm looking to try some dripping atty's.
i'm not looking to use them as taste testers.
i'm looking for a good vape.
but these are the options i have found below.
and i don't know where to start.
I'd buy them all if i could. but i need to narrow it down.
so out of the ones below, are there any not worth it that i can eliminate completely?
which ones are in a definately try out category?
please help me decide.

510 Atomizers
510 Dual Coil Atomizers
510 Bridgeless Atomizers
KP Long Barrel Unsealed Atomizer - Kidney Puncher
Empiremods Bridge Free LR510 1.5ohm
LR510 Low Resistance Atomizer 1.5 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper
Cisco LR306 Atomizer + Drip Tip Special - Avid Vaper
HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer - Avid Vaper

If you are looking for an atty for a REO, Rob has them you can pick up at a good price with other REO parts/accessories.

I've also used the Empire Mods 1.5Ω you link to on a mechanical mod and it would be better for a REO Grand.,However, I just reordered 8 of their 1.8Ω for my regulated mod. When it's set on 9.6W, it applies the same 4.2 volts as a fully charged 3.7V battery to a 1.8Ω load. As the atty clogs up and the resistance lowers (I drip dirty NETs), it lowers the voltage accordingly to keep vape at 9.6W.

Hope this helps!

My absolute favorite is the Cisco Spec 306 LR 1.5ohm.

They are bridged and unsealed.

The vape is warm and immediate, very much like a cigarette. Not surprising as they are designed for short, hard pulls much like we smoked cigarettes.

if you like a cooler vape, I'd recommend getting the longer 306 drip tip.

I did pick up some variety of atties. Actually I got all but the ones from my list.
I started with the ones from avid, so I can't really compare quality yet.
And there is a bit of a learning curve I see... I keep getting leaking and the occasional dry hit.
But the flavor is phenomenal
Today I am pulling out my toolbox full of ejuice i wasn't crazy about to see if they taste better in a attie.

I can see how a reo and a attie are the perfect combo.

Has anyone tried both the Vapage Hybrid Universal and the Vapage Hybrid Atomizer Bottom Feeder?

I have the Universal and love it. But, it's not a sealed connection (therefore, a bottom feeder already). So, what's the difference?

The BF version has slots around the bottom of the barrel, which allows it to easily drain when flooded. This is particularly good when using it on a Vmod, which it was designed for. However, I also use them for dripping, with a drip shield, which contains juice dripping through those slots and also tightens the draw a tad. I'd say if you're not using them on a bottom feeder, the universals are a better choice, but both are stoutly built, long-lasting and delicious. They're every bit the equal of Cisco Specs. Absolutely my favorite sub-$20 atties, and when Vapage has a half-price sale, they're the best bargain in vaping.

Soooo, I've been doing good with these 510’s
Until today, hot juice popped and hit my lip and left a blister! What causes that to happen? Is my atty old? Do I need to clean it?

Sounds like you're putting in too many drops or it's a bit too hot. Remember, dripping on a little atty is like dripping water onto the coil of an electric stove. You can try cleaning it, but I doubt that's the issue if it tastes okay. You might consider using a longer atty (lots of people prefer 901s, but you'll need an adaptor) or getting a debridged one with a plate/shield/splash guard across it, like this:

Another idea would be to use a longer drip tip. You can probably see that my suggestions are all to move you further away from the coil. A drip shield might work as well, but if you recall from my blog I've never used one so, I'm not sure.

You'll have to let us know if you have the same issue when using the HH.357.

I have a drip shield that I use on occasion, especially if I am out and about. It is easy to forget to clean it and just drip away. I found that making sure that you keep your setup clean it works pretty good. If you don't you may find that you will lose flavor and get a juice buildup and things just do not work as well. I found I prefer not using a drip shield, but I have been dripping with 510 attys long enough to know how not to overdrip. I flood the atty rarely now. Learning how many drops to use is better without the drip shield, in my experience.

well I guess it's time to research on how to clean them! I'm sure it needs to be cleaned by now.
I've been using the 510 and 901 almost exclusively.

I tired using them on the reo, but it didn't work very well for me.

But today my shorty carto's arrived, and that is working much better on my mini reo.
I'm actually enjoying the reo now.
And the well on the ProVari is awesome for atty leaks! Keeps it pretty contained!

Thank you.

So far, the Universal is the best 510 atty I"ve ever used. I'm definitely impressed. I'll be watching for those 50% off sales from now on.
