I accidentally (forgot to prime) gave a short pulse to a new addy and heard a POP. I went ahead and added juice and checked the voltage- it gave a reading so I continued on with a couple cold inhales than I tentatively tried some power. It heated, but the juice was new to me so I wondered if the coil pop could effect flavor.

Finally, I layered another familiar juice and it tasted good.

I guess I got lucky. :)

Really enjoying this thread. Thank you all for your knowledge.

One thing though- would you mind not discussing the Reo and Bogger Box mods? I'm desperately trying not to buy one and your conversation is not helping matters.:p

Reminds me of my 1981 Z-28 Camaro, hit the gas and watch the fuel gauge go down!

That was my first brand new car. Last year of the big body style, before the "shark". Black with silver stripes, glass T-Tops. Loved the little doors in the backwards hood scoop that flipped open when you nailed it. It was also a GIANT turd. I had a stack of work orders an inch thick at 6 months old. Under today's laws, it would have qualified as a "Lemon", but I loved it. It was a chick magnet.

I loved mine too, but with all the emissions crap on it, among other things (big heavy doors, leaky t-tops,etc.) it was a huge pain to keep up with. I bought mine used, one prior owner and in good shape, but I only kept it a couple of years and bought an '89 Mustang new. The savings in gas made up for the car payment.

YCY, yeah, I had gotten a really good genny (actually, 2 of them), but my GeJ liquids and my gruffy W2V tobaccos tasted horrific out of them. It was like big clouds with swamp juice. Everyone told me to vape creamsicle, Boba's, Mountain Dew, Kool-Aid, Tang or whatever else; but I ain't rockin' Kenny G over Coltrane just to experience the tool. The tool is not the experience--or at least not for me. For me, the experience is the liquid and if the liquid works best RAD (regular atty drippin') then that's what it is.

p.s. Bottom feeding is just dripping from the bottom up, so bottom feeding is all good to me.

We are in total agreement on almost everything. Except your love of DK-Tab.
