As most of you know, I took the pliers to the GGT button to unscrew it. As if that wasn't bad enough, I then twisted it hard the incorrect direction. hehehe
As a result I stripped
threads and such. Anyhow it was useless after I worked on it.
Imeo was getting ready to go on vacation but asked me to remind him in one week to make me another and he would do so. The reminder is above and his response.
On September 1 he mailed it to me and it was received today September 9, 2009. We had a holiday and a weekend within that time frame. That seems like it was pretty fast shipping from Athens, Greece to North Florida, USA.
Prior to Imeo shipping it to me I requested the cost, because it was really my fault that the
threads were stripped. I even encouraged him to charge me because it is really only fair, but he has never responded to my requests. So I thought, perhaps he would include the invoice in the package with the button, but no there wasn't an invoice in there.
At this point I have to assume it is a gift and it is one that is very much appreciated by me.
The installation video is very well done, clear and easy to see and follow.
The new button has been installed and works like charm. I am very happy with it.
