I know some people here have some time back told me time back how low a battery can safely go before it is put on recharge. But please save me the trouble of going through all my posts.... just give me a number, pretty please with sugar on top.
3.2 absolute minimum as suggested by the battery makers.... I prefer to recharge at 3.5 minimum.... batteries are the most looked after resource in the vaping world... mes up the batteries you mess up your power source...
Thanks... the battery does give signals that it needs a break which you learn to read over time but I wanted to make sure of the red line that should never be crossed
Most regulated mods will cut out at a designated battery voltage, usually between 3.3 - 3.4 volts. That's a good place to stop vaping with a mechanical mod, too.
The new IMR/hybrid batteries can be drained down to almost 2.6 volts before dying a premature point of no return. Not recommended though. Repeatedly draining a battery down too low decreases the overall longivity of the battery.
