Not sure if this is the right sub-forum to post but here goes:

I have started making DIY ejuice recently, using syringes to measure and transfer flavorings and PG/VG.

However, I noticed that when I reuse the syringe, there are remnant scents from the previous DIY flavors. This is not something I want -- Imparting weird tones into my new batch. And I don't think its feasible using a new syringe for everytime.

Will the remnant scents affect the new batch of juice? Rather, any way to remove the scents?

I used to rinse them well with hot water immediately after mixing is done, then draw hot water up into each syringe and let them sit in a container of very hot water to soak for a little while. Then drain the water off and let air dry.
Now I pop them in the ultrasonic cleaner for about 10 minutes. Both methods worked well for me.

Try soaking them in denture cleaner. Walmart has the effervescent tablets very cheap. 1 cup of very warm water and 1 tablet. Let sit overnight. Then, rinse well and they will be fresh. Well, it works on my teeth!!

I also use this solution to clean the coil assembly on my Kanger T3s attys and other attys I sometimes use.
