Just my two cents...
Give it a try with the bridge and wicks all still intact first.

Drip about 5 drops on the bridge of the atty.
Give it 3 quick burns without drawing.
Drop 2 or 3 more drops on the bridge.
Pop on your dip-tip.
Now vape...this should last ya quite a few hits...about like puffing a freshly lit analogue ciggy in terms of number of puffs. If you want to chain vape...add another 3 drops in your drip tip every 8 to 10 hits.

On de-wicking and/or de-bridging....
I personally wouldn't go there unless:
1. You get acrid tasting hits that won't go away after cleaning/blowing out the atty.
2. It's an older atty and you just want to see what it is like.

The bridge and wicks let the atty hold more juice. If you rip it all out...then it only holds the few drops that will sit in the bowl itself. Easier to flood.....easier to get dry hits.

In any event...make sure to leave the main wick (fat one inside the coils). If you rip that out...on purpose or by accident...no good.

As Credo said, not worth it unless you're getting rid of some funky taste in an atty you've been using a while and no amount of cleaning can get rid of it. I've managed to removed the funky by dewicking and debridging.

Only drip if you're using an e-cig with a sealed connector. Auto 510 batteries are out, as they have a hole in the middle of the connector where air can flow to activate the battery but also allows juice to drip into it, and eventually kill it.

Dripping is great for more flavor and stuff, but in general, not really worth it unless you've got LR or HV atties and can get the right voltage, amps and watts to really make a good difference. Standard resistance atties give you some improvement when dripping at 3.7V, but many may find it a bit of a hassle for just a little bit of improvement.

Don't drip and drive.
