Hope this is the place for this question. I have a few REO's, a Grand included.
I also have an Alli. Why does my Alli seem to give a warmer vapor, and gives me a longer battery life? I like both, the Grand because of the durability, and the Alli because it is a great mod. I don't want people to start bashing one or the other in this thread. I don't think I would part with either of them.

The only thing i can come up with is that the Attys are running a little dryer in the Alli, that would explain the warmer vape although i dont think it would explain the battery life diff. unless the resistance changes with temp?

Theoretically it should not matters since the mod is essentially just a battery holder and a switch

This kind of confirms my suspicion with the REO Grand and Mini. Since there isn't an on and off switch, the battery seems to be constantly drained because of it. Some say that twisting the firing button to the lock position is the off switch but that doesn't seem to be right. Since, it's still draining the battery after I did a mini test with it the other night by charging the batteries full and just leaving it in my REO mini over night. Got up the next morning and it was confirmed. The draw I was getting was lighter and wasn't as strong as it should be if my battery was fully charged.

Well by turning the firing button does make it a off & on switch with both thr Mini & Grand. By turning it to lock does turn off the the mod. Now if your getting a battery drain in that mode then you need to PM Rob.

It is a mechanical mod. It cannot complete a circuit unless the firing pin is touching the battery. The button lock is the on/off switch which prevents the firing pin from touching the battery.

Are you using a multimeter? If you are taking a reading of your batteries after they sat in your REO overnight and the voltage has dropped, it is probably a bad battery.
