Reo finishes

Selling my kayfun lite to fund my 3rd reo

Woot!

Getting a new blem and I like the wrinkled black finish but wondering whats the difference between it and silver vein, and also ... is there any other dark similar finishes I should consider?

Ive looked on the site but cant tell much of a difference in pics between the above finishes, its probablly something you have to see with your own eyes to notice.
Any descriptions or comparison pics are appreciated!

The texture is different, black wrinkle is a smoother finish. The Silver Vein is a different color in some lighting and the texture has more of grip to it imo

Don't overlook the hammer tone silver. Black wrinkle + hammer tone silver = H.Bogart/A. Hepburn/G. Kelly/M. Brando elegant.

Let me grab another pic of the silver hammertone. The lighting in that pic above makes it appear much lighter than it really is.

The silver hammertone has a rather deep grayscale spectrum. It ranges from bright silver (like the pic above w/ the coppervein) to a dark silver with dark gray/gunmetal accents.

Im having a hardtime deciding on a finish so probably will go with all black wrinkle, cant go wrong with that.... just waiting on rob to reply, maybee I'll go silver or coppervein on a 4th reo?!? :-O

My sliver vein appears shiny black in most light and some of that "shine" is the silver hue. Held at an angle in bright sunlight, you can see it isn't 100% black... may 80-90%, i.e. dark, dark silver. I think the picture nerak posted above of the silver vein door is pretty close to what I see at an angle. My door texture is the same, the body a bit finer grained. Great grip, super easy to clean, but feels a little slick with VG on it. It looks perfect with the silver RM2 and black drip tip. I'm very happy with it and it's my pride and joy. However, if you're going for more of a two-color vein look, the copper may give you more of that.

I would say the black wrinkle has more grip than the silver vein. It's more of a matt finish vs the silver vein which is textured, but very smooth and shiney.

Rob will remove the plating for a few extra bucks. It looks awesome. the 3 grooves at the top are still plated, so it has a nice brass + chrome thing going on.
