Reo Grand and DC cartos?

I have been using my Grand with LR boge 2ohm cartos. I have been thinking of giving the DC"s a try but I use AW 18650 2900mahs with the PCB. The clear DC's I was thinking about getting are 3ohms but 1.5ohms at the battery. Question is will this work or will it damage the switch or trigger the PCB in the battery, it looks to be around 2.4 amps? If it wont work would the AW high drains be better? I am open to any suggestions or input.

P.S. basically I have times of the day when a stronger throat and lung hit would be nice. That's basically what I am trying to accomplish.

What about them didn't you like compared to the boges, I'm just asking I never tried them ever but seen so many reviews about them?

The draw was super stiff .... The first 20 hits had a terrible taste no matter how long you let them soak before using.
And after the taste cleared up they didn't offer anything that I couldn't get with the cheaper Boge IMO.

I think the AW 18650's would be fine, even at 1.5 ohm. I got one from Avidvaper, they threw it into my replacement order after a minor delay, and I like it. Haven't used it very long, but it is a nice warm, strong vape. I can't tell if it is messing with the flavor because I have high nic PureCig in it.

Yep, most people love them. I know of myself and 3 other REO users that didn't care for them.
We are the minority though.

if you are looking to try something different Ikenvape just released their version of the dual coil cartomizers, 1.6 ohms at the battery and supposedly built much better than the smoketech ones. his store just went live again a few minutes ago so you may want to check them out.

I really like the dual coils - mostly I've been using the 1.5's on both Grand and Mini. I prefer them to the Boge cartos, which I found to have an airy draw. I preferred the 306 atty to the 510 for the same reason - it's all a matter of personal taste. I have found that the cartos seem to mute the taste of some juices a bit, but the consistent vape and good life are reasonable trade-offs.
