Honda, Yamaha and kawasaki have them and they are better than the Harley.
I owned a Honda and 2 Yamaha's in my younger days and they were great. That era ended when I got older and could afford IMO the finer things in life. I paid $30K for the Harley because I love the sound which cannot be truly replicated, I paid $180 for the Reos because I love everything about it especially the customer service Rob offers.

I love my reo (thankfully it was a gift), no way I could afford at this point to buy one either. I would say why not try it, just understand it won't be the same quality and won't have the same level of customer service to back it up.

I know there is a big debate about clones, but for many they are the only way we can try stuff that is out, and at times it does lead to later buying the real mod or atty just because we were able to try it and find out if the cost was/is worth it for us.

Thanks for the info. I might just get the clone to see if I like it, and if I do I might get the authentic later. I never had a Squonker and have really been wanting to try one. Are the Reo's the best for Squonking?

I personally think they are.

Just curious are there any squonkers out there that have regulation and battery protection? Don't shoot me I'm just the guy who listens to the piano player :D
The authentic Reo has battery protection at the negative contact. The gold battery spring is designed as a fuse & will melt when the unit overheats.

Rob also made a regulated Reo at one time, but they have been discontinued.

I picked up a cheap Kangxin from Focalecig for $33. It works, I'm happy. A Sunbox will cost you a "little" more :D
