Well after spending about 100 dollars on Chinese made crap, I bought a Reo Grand. Now I am enjoying smoking e-ciggs. I have lately been buying consumer goods from Europe as much as I can. USA company's make a lot of junk. Its nice to see someone making a device that is well thought out and just works.Enough said.

Hey worknomore...Don't feel bad. I've spent alot more than 100 dollars! I don't even want to guess right now. LOL. I have the eGo tank system (Inferno) and it's ok but I don't get the great taste I get from just dripping on a Cisco 306 1.5 atty. I hope if I can nab a Reo during the next sale that I can use a Cisco and get the great taste along with the convenience of an eGo.

What atty are you using? And are you happy with the taste?

Nice to see another relative newcomer with a REO! Some folks are hesitant to get a mod early on, but the REO's are really simple and straightforward to use and maintain - one of the most hassle-free ways to vape, IMO. And if you have the few spare parts they offer (spring, feed tube, o-ring, button), they are easy to repair if need be. Note that the spring is designed to collapse in the event of a short in your battery or atty - a great safety feature, so it is good to have an extra on hand just in case.

I am using a LR510 and a LR306. I prefer the LR306 atomizer. Taste wise the Reo delivers a smoother hit with good flavor. Not as harsh as the ego-t I have. Easier on the throat. When I would try to take a big hit on the ego-t I would get a harsh burning sensation. Now i can take a big smoke filled hit and I don't get that. Maybe its because an ego uses a silicon rope for a wick? I don't know.
I am using some backwoods brew cherry tobacco and it taste good. Before I did not like flavored e-juices as they did not taste right to me.

Also maintenance is minimal with the Reo.(once a week) I was having to maintain the ego's daily. Here the maintenance schedule as quoted in my user manual.
Care and Maintenance:
It is recommended to clean the unit once per week or as needed depending on your vaping habits. To do this, remove the atomizer and drip tip, juice bottle and battery. Swab the reservoir cup with a Q-tip soaked in alcohol or hot water to clean residual juice. Clean firing pin with alcohol. Once it is dry, reapply a dab of Noalox(included) using a tooth pick. Clean inside of body with with q-tip and alcohol or hot water. Once it is dry, reinstall battery, juice bottle, and atomizer with drip tip as normal. In all this should take about 5 minutes.
