Morning, Deb....They stuck me up in northern Turkey during the cold war times. Isolated tours of duty sure are a drag, but I made the best of it. It was almost like a vacation when they sent me stateside to Virginia as my final assignment. I am so thankful for our young men and women who serve in such perilous times as these.

Amen to that brother.

morning all! not too bad in Texas this morning IMO, 41F. I just put the trash cans out in shorts and T-Shirt :)

That's hilarious... I put the trash cans out Monday morning here is shorts and Birkenstocks and it was in the 20's... In all fairness, I did have a sweatshirt on though. As long as the wind isn't blowing its not too awfully bad here.

lol, if it drops below about 80F i don the tweed overcoat and rug up

always in crocs though

On the other end, when it starts pushing into the 120's here in summer .... clothes are useless extra baggage and shed.

I too, wear crocs most of the time unless I am riding. Below 70° I may even wear the crocs with socks.

Socks? What's socks? Hmmm. Is that Lauderdale slang for sucks? ;) Never wear them, not even the rare times when it snows here.

Was at the Post Office this morning... their computer system had been hacked and was down nationwide. They were only offering stamps for cash... until i saw Robert, a clerk I've known for many years. He took care of the package I was mailing (gifting vape gear to a gal pal in FL she doesn't know is coming). Still a pain, but kind of fun to see him trying to do everything like they did decades ago. Everything by hand, using stamps to put postage/insurance whatever on packages, etc, doing the math longhand on scratch paper, hand cancelling and only taking cash payments. Couldn't get a receipt, or a tracking number, but can follow it once the package is in the system via its insurance number. No idea yet how package deliveries will be today... I have several vape mail packages due today.

Non sense no feeling :)

Sounds like my son. He's 30 and I swear that boy could sweat in a blizzard! Always runnin around with no coat when it's freezing, literally.

And Morning Reoville!

Gotta head out in a bit, do some shopping in case the door freezes up n i can't get out! But at least we're not buried in snow n gonna be buried some more, like the East coast!

I'm sure you're back and cuddled up now.......but be careful hun! Hope you got what you needed. And hope you don't get trapped inside.

They kept telling me back then, "don't do that, you'll get flashbacks"!!! ... I'm still waiting!:p

Folks shouldn't promise if they aint gonna deliver huh!

Awwwwww that's sweet of ya to do that for her........and sweet of him to take care of your package for ya!! wonder what caused the outage. I've got to get a package out to a friend from here of some goodies I'm not using. But told her I don't get out much so it would take me a bit to get it done.
