Okie dokie!!

Note to self..........do NOT walk to da door with something sharp in hand.......mailman will never deliver here again!

LOL! Yep leave the shap item inside! You will want to open the package so when you pull out the plastic you don't lose anything! Inside is best! Spread everything in the package out on a table.

I think I need to lube the button... :D

R

I just had a problem with my newest mod (SL/LP) last night/this morning with the fire button sticking. I did notice that my new SL mod collects a lot of pocket lent and I think that's what caused my button to stick and pretty much continue to fire after releasing the button, I'd have to pull it back up almost every time. I ended up pulling the battery and rotated the button to lock and unlock position several times until I felt it start to loosen up. Then left it in the unlock position and starting press down the button and releasing it really fast until it loosened back up. I think there still might be pocket lent stuck down in there, but I got it to stop sticking. What I plan to do here in a little while is just remove the atomizer, juice bottle, and battery and then giving it a quick rinse and blow dry it all out. A quick cleaning usually fixes a lot of issues. I'd suggest just cleaning it real quick and it should fix your sticky button issue, another thing is while running warm or hot water over your mod, run water over the button and press it down repeatedly really fast. Then shake majority of the water off it and blow dry it clean again while repeatedly pressing the button rapidly.

Jet, there is another box that may have the atty I ordered in it.........but no the ones that are being sent are coming from Australia so they'll take awhile to get here. Still can't believe he's doing that.

I'd suggest just to take the connector cover out, move the connector, take out the button and clean it without rinsing. There is not much to it.

P.S. Mine does not have any lint or dirt in there, just two materials rubbing against eachother.

Wonderful! In your hands where it belongs. Love it when REO's find their homes!

Deb, when you catch your breath, settle down and build an atty and you'll be in vaping bliss! Congratulations! Even though you have been a part of our family for awhile, you are now an official Reonaut!:)

Too much work for a sticky button issue, plus you run the risk of stripping out the delrin cover screw on the install, although I use to completely strip my mod when cleaning and now I've taken advice from others to just rinse and blow dry (5min job) and you don't even have to remove the delrin cover. It's a lot easier and you'd be amazed at what a little warm water will do. I have a compressor with air chuck in my garage so it's easy for me to blow dry it all out.

Edit: delrin is easy to sand or wear down, so as recommended before, if you "work" your button while repeatedly pressing down rapidly, it will pretty much wear the button smooth in the area where it's rubbing. No grease or lube required, plus a quick rinse to get all the debris out and you'll be good to go. But to each their own, whatever works for you I guess.

Guess we won't be seeing or hearing from deb for a while, while she's occupied lol. Hope she didn't pass out from all the excitement.

I hope she had a coil built for her RBA. And I hope she has a meter to read the ohms!

I did tell her she should order a spring right away. I always worry that a new Reonaut might have a short in the learning process.

So that it pushes down smoother. I use a button cover, and it moves in a slight angle now and touches the body, and plastic against aluminum is not smooth. Perfectionist....

R

The button cover should not make the button push at an angle. Unless you are pressing more on the side of the cover and not direct on top. Sometimes I must remind myself to put my thumb centered on the button cover.

Yep, that is why, I press more on the side. Well, it's no biggie.
