I'm supposed to go over to my friends whose boy is having a birthday party. I don't know if I can go or not. There will be a ton of 6 yo's there and I'm afraid it will make me miss my boy too much. That could have some bad consequences for me.

Either way I'm getting together with the friend later today to jam for awhile. So, it will be a good day :) I'm gonna make it so.

Good morning, REOville!

My daughter and grandbabies made it to New York yesterday afternoon. First thing they did? Play in the snow, of course. The kids have never seen real snow. Just the thin layer of slush we get every once in a while.

Let's see if I can post a picture:

They're having a blast!

Hey, Fleet! Alive is a good place to start. That's where I always start anyway.

Good morning, Teresa. ( I love your name :) ). Yep, alive is a good place to start.

Sure looks like the kids are having fun. Makes me think of how I'd feel if I climbed in my refrigerator. I don't play in the snow anymore. I like to play in the sand on a warm beach :)

Question for y'all:

When is the last time you skinny dipped? :)

Last time for me was 5 years ago. Riding down a causeway one night I just pulled onto the sand. My wife asked what I was doing and I said I was going swimming. She said I didn't have my swim suit and I said I don't need one. Shed my clothes and off into the warm water I went (this was in FL). She couldn't believe it and wouldn't join me. I had a great time!!!!

Edit: up North here it's too cold to do that or I'd be doing the same again!

I still like the cold, sometimes. It's fine as long as there's no wind. Wind is only good when it's 100 degrees or when a big storm is coming. There's nothing more sensual and thrilling than the wind whipping up when a storm is coming!

morning Teresa :)
Good morning, Scott. And, how are you this fine morning?

It's been 40 years. I don't get out much.

40 years? That's a long time. I've never confused nudity with sexuality. They can be quite distinct. I spent many months of the years going to a Quaker summer camp in Vermont. Nudity was the norm. None of us wore bathing suits, neither did the girls at their camp across the lake. It was quite common to see people tending the camp gardens quite naked. We had no electricity and our water supply was just a pipe put up in a spring that ran downhill to the main camp building which had the kitchen.

For bathrooms we had double seater A-Frame outhouses with no front or back wall. Modesty never crossed our minds. Guess I learned something there and have carried it with me all this time. Freedom, that's what I feel.

Edit: those A-Frames had Sears or some other type of big catalog hanging on ropes. That was our toilet paper. And no one complained :)

My grandmother helped raise grandkids, great-grandkids, and even great-great grandkids. A lot of years with no privacy or time to herself.

One day, when she was in her early 90s, my brother came over to check on her and just let himself in with his own copy of her housekey. And, what did he find? My grandmother sitting at the kitchen table reading the newspaper . . . . naked.

Nothing wrong with that. Unless you don't want people walking in with their own key :)
