Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve! I hope you all are ready, and if you are travelling, please be safe out there! I have to work today. Hope to get enough stuff done to minimize the amount of time I have to work Friday. We'll see.
It is getting close to 1pm here on Heiligabend (translated Holy Night, actually Christmas Eve), and it is high time, that I finish work and shut down the Computer to join the family for last xmas preparations. Though kits are grown and out of the house, they will return home for these precious days.

lamb is great stuff, provided you aren't watching cholesterol intake. lots more flavour than beef
Yes, pretty much the same as a pot roast but more delicious. Kind of gamey.

Good Morning REOVille. I haven't had lamb since I was young, drunk and stupid on Liberty Call in Athens somewhere around '81. It was so common that several 'Ma and Pa' Taverns would serve Lamb, Onion and Tomato shis-ka-bob (?) on stick for 50 cents to a dollar. Eat ten of them and drink a litre of Granma's white wine when you're far from home. Spent three Christmas ('80 thru '82) in the Mediterranean courtesy of the US Navy. Never again. This is the time of year for Family and Loved Ones. Hope everyone gets to see your loved ones this Holiday Season.
