Today I read that a tornado didn't knock the train cars over. It was an 80 mph straight wind. The wind was blowing like crazy at my house. I was praying it was so bad. You could hear it knocking stuff over out there, and the cat was scared. She was growling, and then ran for cover, still growling. The dog was not effected one way or another. She was warm and cozy, and the storm didn't bother her. (huge sigh of relief)

EDIT: Personally, I have never experienced a true tornado near or around me. I have never lost someone to this terrible natural disaster, nor personally known anyone in real life who have been injured by a tornado. For those REOvillians residing in or around areas afflicted by tornados, please understand I don't mean to be disrespectful or make fun of the nightmares tornados have brought to folks.

@Snape it costs 49USD for USPS First Class international with insurance from Rob to Eur. Takes around 5days to (one-time) 11days. Only got hit with customs once out of four.
IIRC Rob can do cheaper shipping but once colis is out of his door any problems are between you and the postal authorities.
Recommend you try RM3 if you don't mind a smaller deck but works fine with duals, or RM4, I have both installed on my REOs.
Good luck. :)

oh that was hilarious! Love the way kid's minds think sometimes! I spent a cat 3 hurricane on a 90 foot crew boat tied up under a major hwy bridge, but haven't been in a tornado either. The hurricane spawned over 100 tornadoes just on Galveston Island, but we had to spend several days in the ship channel due to a live wire that fell in the water, so that was all over with by the time we got back to Galveston.
My sil however lived in Xenia, Ohio during the massive tornado there. Her house was ok, but most of her neighborhood was destroyed.

Guess i'll have to say good afternoon since i've been gaddin' about earlier. I went and bought a small camcorder so that I can video my new place, which I love! It's a mobile home in a 55/older community..with my own driveway/carport...a large sunporch...a large shed...backed up to the woods...lotsa old fogies around me:D

The guy across the street brings my large commercial trashcan to the sunporch...the guy next door shoveled the end of my driveway the one time it snowed here!

(Don't get any ideas..they're married...just neighborly! I've chitchatted with their wives also)

A little glitch in my videoing plans,,,I don't have the correct size memory card:confused:
I want to see! I'm so glad you love your new place!

It suits me to a "T" LoL. That's why I'm so excited to show all my friends. It's an older place , and it's not of the "cookie cutter" style, a little old-fashioned and a little worn, but it has character and charm...

sorta like me:D

Well, it's past my bedtime, so I'll say Adieu....

Gday gday :) I've fairly recently rediscovered reo love, so thought I'd pop in here with a quick post. Unfortunately the time difference kind of stuffs me up for much chatting, but I figured I'd say hello anyway :D
Howdy Inga!! Nice to know you've rediscovered your REO love! Aint it great, even if for whatever reason you don't use it for awhile......pop in a fresh batt and you're good to go! Can't say that for internal batt regulated mods. what kind of REO(s) do you have?

I've got a fairly beaten and battered black/grey lp hammertone grand, and a plain black anodized grand. I recently emailed Rob about upgrading the 510 of the a anodized one, then discovered the P67 thread and I have GOT to get me one of those!! So the upgrade is going to have to wait :D My very first mod four years ago was a reo mini, strange how you can go in one massive circle. And thanks for the welcome guys :)
