EDIT: Personally, I have never experienced a true tornado near or around me. I have never lost someone to this terrible natural disaster, nor personally known anyone in real life who have been injured by a tornado. For those REOvillians residing in or around areas afflicted by tornados, please understand I don't mean to be disrespectful or make fun of the nightmares tornados have brought to folks.

RHP

Why I am not in the area now, having lived through more than one major one I can tell you I found this funny.

Australia doesn't get many tornados (it's all cyclones for us here) but I've watched heaps of you tube videos, and my god, they look terrifying. I don't know how those chasers have the guts to do it.

The worst one I been close to was the one that hit Joplin MO a few years ago. I was 20 miles from the hospital it tore apart but still we had debris in our yard and friends who lived close to the hospital lost everything from that one. It was so bad that my first trip back into town after I was crying driving past places I knew but couldn't recognize.

Howdy inga, RedhatPat here. Feel free to call me, Pat, RHP, RedhatPat, basically anything 'cept a *flatlander! Welcoming ya from half a world a way (Did I not memtion how large REOville is, folks) with a question on my mind for ya.

I am a big long time fan of a TV show with an amazing international cast that's called Lost, incase ya don't know. Since that show's central premise is the country of Australia, do you happen to know if it's a famously awesome show in or around the common folks around your neck of the woods?

that's horrible. My sil said that about Xenia, said she got to the end of her block, and had no idea where she was from just looking around, it was all flattened. Was a freaky feeling.

oh wow.....it was sooooo good!! I'd had no desire to watch it based on the previews of it. When my son was deployed, a friend got him hooked on watching it. He had bought the first season or two. When he came home on R&R, he kept telling me how good it was. I kept saying I had no desire to see it. Finally he said.......watch one episode with me, if you don't like it, I won't say any more to ya about it! Ok........wow, one episode and i was hooked. Stayed up all night watching that first season on DVD!!

Well then Debadoo, this one's 4 you! (warning contains some spoilers) but totally worth it especially if you've seen the episode called "Fire and Water"

The potato chips are stale. No beer in the frig. I expect better when I come to the Lounge. Who do I complain to?
Well I don't drink so that parts on you and as far as the chips you lie because when I open a bag I eat the whole thing so they can't go stale

What can I say, contributions have been way down lately. There was only enough money to get a can of pringles......and Darrel ate those!
