I hope this brings more people to Reoville!

came out a little longer than i would have liked, but i could not seem to shut up about this great device!

My first youtube, i hope to get better as I go. editing video is not my strong point!

Reo Mini 2.1 & RM2 - YouTube

go a ton of devices to review that have not already been done to death, but the Reo had to be my first. hope you enjoy.

reserved, will check it out tonight, looking forward to watching this... if i had editing software id volunteer to edit for you... used to do it on a semi professional level but never had the software myself... definitely none of those jump cuts...

the best way to do edits if you cant get them to join well would be to cut to something else then cut back... doing this makes it seem much smoother, it also helps to do multiple takes of the same clip, approximately 3 full script (using a script is absolutely ideal, you can go off script but it helps to keep you on track and get to the points) then do another 3 takes of various sections... (3 good takes)

Ok I will say it is a very good review, I only have 3 gripes, 1 of which is purely editorial as you brought up before. Trying to be constructive and help you make what i feel would be an outstanding review... not trying to offend or be rude...

so it is a bit jumpy... now this is something that with pretty much every review i have ever watched minorly bugs me... a better transition, for example the first time you switched cameras take a vape blow the vape in the camera then when the "vape" clears your in the view of the reo... just a smoother transition, its not just you, its pretty much all reviewers...

then like i had suggested before watching... a script would be super... it was a great review... really great but you repeated the same things a few times... at various points... not a horrible thing, not even a bad thing... just a bit of a script would help things a bit...

the only thing that really irked me was you kinda switched the kind of review you were doing, you kinda switched back and forth between absolute basics, and advanced... one second the review seemed to be aimed at someone who was looking at buying their first ecig ever, the next it seemed it was aimed at someone making the switch to a mechanical from an ego or a regulated apv, and it also switched to someone who had used mechs...

if you kept it more intermediate to advanced that would be super, idk something about a brand new never had an ecig user grabbing a mech scares me a bit... so its ok if they get confused a little, id rather they take a step or two first...

so i might i suggest one of two things in lieu of this... (hoping this isnt coming across as arrogant or demeaning) try either an intermediate style review peppering in a few things for advanced, and explaining the advanced... or intermediate up front, then moving to advanced, showing bits and pieces for advanced users as well...

hope this didnt offend and that it helped... great review... totally jealous of your vape lounge... and the awesome amount of stuff... lol

Script...good idea!...would stop my rambling.

I am just amazed at the lack of reviews on this setup...I mean Rip trippers and GrimmGreen have reviews oft he Reo but they are using Standard Atomizers. As we know the Rm2 is where it's at! I'm in the process of modifying some drippers to bottom feed, if I have success I'll post some better (scripted/& edited) videos.

Great video - loved it. You have a nice way of presenting - down to earth, yet informed. Sure, it's lengthy, but the depth that you go into tear down and building more or less dictated that. Pbusardo has similar length vids all the time. GrimmGreen often gets up there, too, especially if there's a build involved.

I think you've done one of the most complete reo examinations ever, so thanks for that.

You'll pick up all the editing and stagecraft tricks as you continue, but it your clear manner of explaining is great. You got this.

Thank you very much for taking the time to point me in the right direction. All very good suggestions that I will use going forward. Funny you mention the "vape transition". I had attempted to do just that but failed! Defiantly will use that next time. I think using a script will help with both the length and more importantly keeping focused on the correct audience. That is something I did not consider and would not have even thought of but it's very important. Also seems that wheni uploaded the vid youtube asked if they could "adjust" the video for better quality. For some reason it seems like it made the camera shaky on certain shots, which is not present in the raw footage.

Need to adjust the audio so that it does not sound like I'm in a tunnel, and it bugs me how the volume changes from one view to another. All your comments are dead on, and if I want to improve, I need this type of feedback.

Thanks again for taking the time. I really appreciate it. :toast:

not a problem... like i said i edited videos for a while, i shot videos, i participated in videos... more of a hobby than anything at the time but i picked up a bunch of key things, i also enjoyed acting... i guess you could say i always enjoyed putting on a show...

so the audio changing probably has to do with the way your lounge is designed and where you are talking in relation to the microphone on the camera... while this is no biggy the audio got the tunnel effect when you were not actually facing the camera... do you have a high ceiling in your lounge?

i dont mind trying to help, i have been considering taking my own little stab at it, though i doubt id be reviewing much of anything... lol...

the reason i suggested is splitting things up and taking different clips of each one is that script or not you might do something different you like better, you might want to rearrange them, theres a bunch of possibilities... oh and just my own little suggestion the way id do it... and im willing to bet the other big names do it...

they script everything out, and might get a little off tangent... if they dont really show you the coil they made before, but show you the coil making and the coil made... id be willing to bet they filmed the making of the new coil then filmed the face time... i know i would...

i kinda lost track and if i didnt say everything i had to say ill add it later... im a bit tired at the moment, not a morning person at all... but im glad that you appreciate the feedback and that it helped... again i am so jealous about your lounge, that thing is sweet!!!
