I was letting a co worker use my one mini at work. The other day it was hectic at the end, and I forgot to put it in my work bag. The next day we were told we were not allowed to use them on the production floor. Well I think the guy that followed me on the next shift complained. So now I have to make trips into the warehouse, roll room, and ladies room to chain vape. But I do miss my mini.

I am assuming that your mini will be returned to you.....right?

I was informed it was "discarded", by the employee on the next shift. He is the one who caused a scene and complained.

 I would be so pi$$ed! Are you kidding me!! Even if the guy complained, he has no right to throw away your personal property. It's not like that was a cheap gas station jobby either, that was your MINI!!!:( sooo sorry that happened to you. Anyone at work higher up you feel comfortable complaining to, maybe they would reimburse you for the loss of the mini and you could buy another?

Oh my word....I don't even know how to be tactful in this situation. Perhaps it would be a good idea to at least go ask management if you could have it back, since it's worth $150+. A $10 pack of cigs is one thing, but a personal vaporizer is completely different. Perhaps you could use the "medical device" angle. I could understand withholding it to the end of the shift...but not destroying it. None of the larger companies I have ever worked for would be able to get away with destroying personal property, much less valuable personal property. *sitting on pins & needles* Grrrrr....:grr: I think i'd just lose it. I'm so sorry...I don't mean to rant, or salt the wound as it were. I completely agree, if this happened to me, somebody would be writing me a check. I could see holding it until a discussion was had, and then returning it, but never just blatantly throwing something away. That's like throwing someone's cellphone away because they were using it on the floor. Ugh! Sorry this happened!

Exactly. That's the point I was looking for but was too wound up to think of.

I wouldn't let that slide. You have a right to retain your personal property even if others find it objectionable. Your Mini should be returned or you should be promptly reimbursed for the full value of a replacement Mini, atomizer, battery, e-liquid, and all related shipping costs. I hope you don't relinquish your rights.

Wow!!!! My heart goes out for you bjannr!!! That "discarded" statement really hit me in the gut. I don't really know the situation, but IMO no one has the right to take your personal property in any scenario. Especially a REO, a very pricey and quality and in most cases sentimental PV. I hope you find some sort of resolve or restitution in this matter.

Good Luck

Another employee " discarded" it?! That employee owes you a lot of money for supposedly "discarding" it!! And management

needs to address this, because this employee stole your personal property!!!!

Phone-blitz the office. Post your company's number here. I bet after several ECF'rs chime in the company will "find" you mini or reimburse you!

amen and amen again! I haven't been in a good battle in a long time and I hate sneaking underhanded lowlife types

and i bet that guy is a two-packer a day and resents some female getting away with

using something right out in front of God and everyone when this low-life has to wait till break or lunch time to smoke...

I thank you for your support. But the person who threw it away is one of the boys. So, since I do not have a certain appendage, I really have no recourse. I miss it, it was a pretty red/silver, but I am one that has back ups for my back ups. Loosing it is bad, but not as bad as loosing my job over some male idiot.

I totaly agree with all the statements about should be returned reimbursed etc. But lets be honest in today's job situation
most people are scared to death of rocking the boat or even standing up for there own right's and justifiably so.
