Just don't do as i tried and use HRH's hair dye instead of paint, because in 3 weeks the grey shows thru again!

. . . . which is why I always do the second time and skip the first.
seriously, tho, for me, the first time almost always comes out great (not swirl painting, just whatever). it's like a naive luck-fest. the second time is where I realize how lucky i got the first time. and, usually, by the third time, I kin'a know what I'm doing.
Does this represent the color better? Ya...can you tell I'm anxious to see the outcome? 
haha, the curing process is killing us all, It should be done by tonight, if not tomorrow morning. I shall post pics when it's done.
@pdib You're lucky, my first times are always epic fail bombs. Only time I got things right the first time was when I built my first PC.

It's great! And, thinking about it, an accurate photoshop rendition is as close as I'm gonna get to the actual anyway.

How did it work with the door? Meaning, how did you paint it so seamlessly, and yet have the door not get painted shut?

I didn't really have to do anything prep wise for the seams. I guess there's just enough gap for it not to seal itself. I thought I was going to get chipping or peeling for sure, but it just worked itself out.
