To all my fellow "lady-REOnauts"...I'm looking for some tips on how to keep my mini REO in an upright position when in my purse during shopping trips, etc. When I first got it, I put it in my purse and then later in my pocket, but quickly noticed that the carto that I use with it was completely saturated with eliquid within a very short time and that the amount of juice in the 3 ml bottle seemed to be aLOT less than normal each time I'd check it as well. I haven't noticed any leakage of juice within the body of the mini at all, so I'm concluding (for now) that it simply has to be kept in an upright position all the time rather than being able to simply toss it into a pocket or purse.

Am I correct? If so, looking for any help or tips that any of you can give me. Thanks :)

Hmmmm...my purse has a couple of pockets and I keep my REO there, relatively upright, but I haven't had any leakage. I did once have some from the juice held in an atty, and then I figured out I needed to vape it almost dry before putting it away. I sometimes lay a REO on its side on my table and don't have an issue. Unfortunately, I have limited experience with cartos.

Is it self-feeding? Are you having to "squonk" in general?

It seems that it's self-feeding, yes, whenever it's not in a completely upright position all the time. If not self-feeding, then possibly there's a leak? Not sure of this, hence my question as to whether or not it's "normal" for my mini to be saturating the carto and/or the juice bottle to be going through a heckuva lot more juice than normal lately without having to squonk it...

I do squonk in general when I'm at home with the mini sitting upright on the desk or a table next to me....

oh-boy, an excuse to go shopping for a new purse ;) Seriously though, I love purses that have front compartments, like for my cell phone, and when I used to smoke - a pack of cigarettes.

The only other thing I might suggest is to remove the carto and put it back into its rubber thingys in a little plastic bag just for good measure and when you're going to vape.... put it on.... sort of like reaching for matches when we used to smoke :)

I've only been using a carto for a couple of days and its not near hot here where I live so I haven't had any issues. I did, put a carto condom over the drip tip while I wasn't using my mod with it in order to prevent evaporation...but haven't noticed the juice bottle going down on its own. Have you checked the inside of your mod for juice leaking inside? While its uncommon...it can happen and Rob would want to fix it if that is the case.
I often carry my mini in my various pockets and set it in my console in my car....but I usually take three with me. My purse has a smaller pocket that I use for carrying my minis and battery case and they usually stay upright. :) The only time I had an issue is when my Mini Woodvil tipped over and the Pyrex Drip tip slid off my LR306...the juice inside it dribbled just a bit, but not enough to cause a problem.
