Howdy folks,

I was just wondering how long do micro coils last on the RM2 and how fragile are they?

I travel a lot for work and am usually on the road for 2-3 weeks at a time. I don't mind bringing some extra cotton along or stealing some from q-tips to rewick but would hate to have to bring wire and cutters and a ohm/multimeter along just to build new coils while on the road.

I figured if the coils were to fragile I could always pack along a hand full of 510/306/357 atty for the trip and get by that way.

I'm on the road (literally) for work constantly. I would feel safe using one coil that long but I'd probably rig up an emergency kit like I got. It's a small zippered case on a key chain. It's big enough for a battery, bottle, 16ga needle and a small baggy with enough wire for one coil and some cotton. I carry a little keychain screwdriver and you can break the excess wire off by wiggling it back and forth once you tighten the screws.

This is the case https://www.rtdvapor.com/online-sto...y-cases/nylon-battery-case-w-carabiner-detail

Little container with extra coils, o-ring, and glasses screw driver. Not shown are a nail clippers for trimming wick and the tails off the coil, and an ohm meter.
