Can you buy a bag of buttons? I got a couple manuals that I'd like to try a new button on.

I don't think they sell just the buttons man. Do you mean just the plastic cover, or the actually mechanical button on the inside?
They're pretty easy to come by in 10,000 and 100,000 unit quantities.
The battery would have to be completely disassembled, the circuit board removed, then the button cap slid out, replaced, then you'd need to reaffix the board to the wall of the housing, then reassemble. You'll need a press too.

Nevermind...I found them at another site...actually they just pop off and can be replaced
