Replacement For Internal Ego Battery

I just discovered these batteries on the hobby king site. They match the specs and dimensions of the internal battery in the egos (the 650mah version). At 2 bucks a pop, sounds like a good way to rebuild old ego batteries!

Physically yes but at 15c the ego electronics might not handle it too long. The original bats probably don't reach 2c. Not saying it won't fly, just some caution.

that, and you would need a good soldering iron, I've never soldered cells like these, but i know first hand that without proper heat temps, you could potentially weaken the battery with poor soldering work, before you even have a chance to fire it up for the first time... lol

Unless you know what you are doing, i wouldn't recommend direct soldering to lithium cells.

Naw, they do much better than that. You are correct about failures due to the electronics though.
