Had an old replacement head laying around with the silica wick that had been falling out of the coil which was causing a little flooding and leaking. So I pulled out the rest of the silica and gave the coil a good dryburning, it was still in good shape sooo...
Grabbed an inch or so of 1mm. cotton, wet it and twisted it into a point and pushed it through the coil. Unwound it, dripped some PG on it, re-assembled and re-filled the
stardust.
It's working great again, no flooding.
A cheap fix to get even longer life out of an already inexpensive replacement head
on the stardusts.
