They've changed them to be like an Evod coil. I "heard" that Kanger wasn't even making the old T3 coils anymore.

I don't know if SI's factory(not Kanger) is going to upgrade their T3, but IMHO the Evod coils work better, look better and they're cheaper. To see a picture of the eGo version of the new T3, check out post #2 of this thread:

You'd need an 901/808D to eGo adapter to use the new Kanger base and coil on an X2 battery. I'm not sure how it would look. This coil assembly will work with T3 tank from S.I. though.

I only ordered 10 and I have 20 of the minis and I think 10 full size T3. I've been going slowly back to the T2s though.. warmer vape makes me happier
