You'd need an 901/808D to eGo adapter to use the new Kanger base and coil on an X2 battery. I'm not sure how it would look. This coil assembly will work with T3 tank from S.I. though.

So in essence, if for some reason SI was to go out of stock again on T3 coils, the coils can be swapped with those eVod coils?

Any info on whether you'll change to the new evod/t3s style coils? If so awesome!

If not my volt stuff will be up in the classies...

Curious to know this myself. The evod coils are the bomb diggity. I'm currently using evods on my Volt stuff with an adapter.

Picked up an 808/510 adapter from a B&M nearby, but they didn't have the evod or vivi novas in stock. Have a picture of the setup gilpdawg?

That looks perfect, tyvm JoAnn, will be grabbing one of these as well as a sleeve very soon. Always good to experiment. Is the evod your go to tank at this point?

As far as the bottom coils, yes. I have them in all the colors and so far, none have failed. The replacement coils come 5 in a pack. Great flavor, lots of vapor and no leaking. After I clean a used coil, I put in one of the replacement heads while I let the newly washed coil air dry. They are very pocket friendly too.

Why is an 808 to ego adapter needed when the threading on an X2 is already 808 inside and ego outside???

The battery post on an X2 sticks up farther than it does on an eGo battery, so an X2 won't go far enough into the Evod to thread on right.

Are you saying EVODs do not leak at all, like no chance or you haven't had any?

How hard are they to clean?

Every clearomizer I've used has dribbled a little juice onto the battery, but this is very minimal with the Evod and new T3S. Also, I don't get any gurgling or burnt tasting hits with them, and the heads are a lot cheaper.

Cleaning is about the same as a T3. Just a rinse under warm water.

The EVODS look cooler than the T3's but I take really hard drags and it always causes a leak somewhere if I am aggressive.

I have tried all the SI stuff, except for the mini (on the way). I really want easy to clean and fill and less likely to leak. I have 3 T3's and one did leak but I changed out the head and it was fine.

I have thought about moving to something way more expensive but again, don't see the point if it requires as much/more work to keep clean.

I can only speak about my personal experience with the Evod. I have not had any leaks using the Evods nor have I had any that failed. Others may have a different opinion.

Mine's not as clean looking. I'll probably grab an eGo eventually to use with these clearos.

Hey Jo Ann. I’m curious if you and I mean the same thing when we say leak. I’ve used Evods for 4 months, and almost every time I take one off, there is a little juice on the battery post. I don’t know if you would call it leakage or just a little condensation.

I have not had any moisture on the battery post. No moisture from the mini T3s either... maybe I'm just lucky? :)
