replacements or buy new?

Well here is the idea i have. The batteries for my 3 and a half week old NPRO are still decent but one is dieing, I'm wondering if I should buy some new batteries and an atomizer, or if I should go for an upgrade to an Dura C? batteries for the NPRO seem to be hard to find under 15, and if I buy 2 of those that's $30 and then a couple atomizers from ruyandirect for $5.50 brings another $11 or so dollars, plus however much to ship all this. Would it be worth it to just say to heck with replacement parts for this and go towards the DURA-C (and there's no LED on the Dura-C)? I dont' know how much I'm going to like having to hold a switch and all that though.

Tough decision...

The Janty Dura C is also known as a JoyE 510 manual.

The only places I am aware of off the top of my head with the Dura C would be a Janty site or dietsmokes and they both charge the same price so it really does not matter who you buy it from. I think dietsmokes might even be out of stock at the moment.

If you shop around for a JoyE 510 you can find it cheaper than the $58 price tag on the Dura C but make sure to be completely aware of what you are getting. Many 510 starter kits come with one manual and one auto battery. The Dura C comes with two manual batteries.

If you look around you can find the 510 with manual batteries and LED's on the end though with the manual battery the LED is not so important because you know when the atomizer is engaged and don't need that visual confrmation so much.

The one suggestion I would make VERY STRONGLY is to get a PCC with it. That is a Pocket Charging Case. It is an invaluable assistant to the 510 and gives you the kind of battery capacity only matched buy large awkward modified e-cigs.

EDIT
BTW
I will be doing some shopping myself tomorrow night and I was going to look around for a 510 manual set with LED so if you are paitent I will post a link tomorow. If you are impatient and do the shopping on your own I would certainly appreciate if you could posts a link for me where to find a 510 manual with LED's. :D

I'm not completely impatient, still not sure if I want to buy one more battery to last me until my next pay check just so I don't have to spend another $60 so soon. So it might be a couple more weeks until I actually buy, just window shopping at the moment.

Any ideas where to get the NPRO batteries (RN 4081) that are cheaper that $15, puresmoke or whatever the page is used to have them until recently when I finally had the money to buy them.

Anyway thanks for the help I appreciate it very much. And the LED isn't extremely important to me since I noticed I can't see the LED outside anyway, it's more just a cool feature, not an important one, and probably makes the batteries last longer. Speaking of that, anyone ever try taking the LED out of a batter and see how long it lasts? Probably not much longer but you never know.

There are so many sellers I could not suggest one for the best price without doing some serious browsing.

As a general rule of thumb, you will pay a lot less for the actual products but pay a little more for the shipping and have to wait a little longer if you order from a company in china.

You will pay more for the actual product and less for the shipping and will get it faster buying from someone in the USA.

The hardest part is that for an order so small the shipping is going to make it cost a lot more than it should. This is why most people try to not place small orders and save them up for a larger order where the shipping cost is not so detrimental.

The cheapest place I found for the 510 was the Janty Dura C, which was a nice change. They also have a good warranty and 2 atomizers, and ship pretty quick. I'd recommend going for that as your best bet for getting into a 510.

I've been real happy with one, finding myself using it more and more with a passthrough than my old 901 passthrough setups.

Get your Dura C if you want it, but keep the 4081 as a backup. Trueman ecig has 4081 batteries for $8.50each. I just got 4 of them. (Being shipped now) Having 2 different kinds is good, if parts are scarce or delayed for one of them. That gives you something to fall back on.

I also think it is nice to have a 'beater' e-cig as well.

I enjoy the hell out of my Dura C but I can't really use a manual when I am at work. I am carpenter and need my hands plus the jobsites are dirty as hell and I dont want all that crap in my good e-cig.

I suck my 4081 all day at work and the thing is a complete horse. It carries whatever I throw at it and just keeps on vaping.

A thought for the OP....

Instead of buying a battery, why don't you conside buying pass through? I was just reminded of this when it briefly passed by the top of the forum...

My workhorse is the 4081. I went to my M401 backups just for a change, and to give the others a rest. I ordered a few of those $9 passthroughs with the $8.50 batts. Plus a few other things.

TYVM

My order has been placed.

As an added bonus they had everything I needed to get across three different models of e-cig.

Could you let me know how quickly you receive this and and a little review of it to please? I'm pretty interested and don't feel like paying the $60 for a starter kit from Janty and would much prefer to pay the $40 from these guys as long as delivery time is reasonable and the product is good.
