Replacing glass on Kanger Aerotank v2

May be a dumb question but I have a kanger aerotank v2 long story short Pyrex glass and a good fall onto concrete equal a crack. No big deal though I have a stainless steel replacement. I tried to get the glass off but it wot budge and I have a good grip. I my fingers around the mouth peice and too of glass but the bottom won't budge. The top will come off but any tricks for switching tanks. Thanks

When my kayfun's clear section cross threaded, I had the same problem. I had some of those things you put under outlet covers to try and reduce the drafts, they're thick, foamy and sort of rubbery, so they make a good grip. I used that under a needle nose pliers to take mine apart. May or may not work for you though.

If you're going to try a pliers though, use the pliers on the part that you don't need to save, even if you're using something to soften the grip, because you'll probably damage it anyhow, no matter how careful you are.
