Hello vape guru's!

I am new to the whole rba thing. I purchased some 400 mesh, Kanthal 28awg, and a Mini Cobra Genesis RBA. It is being used on a Puresmoker Legacy Mini 18350 at 3.7v.

I keep trying over and over again, and even when I get a perfect coil, the best resistance I can get is about 0.7 ohms on a 4-wrap coil (the most I can get on the wick).

Even when I get it perfect where all coils heat at the same time, insert the wick, play with it to get rid of hot spots, etc... It still seems to cook my wick and juice.

I've watched 1000001 videos, and I just don't know what I am doing wrong? Is it the wire type? wire gauge?

I've gotten so frustrated that i've gone back to using carto's for the time being, but I am really wanting to get this skill down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

this rebuildable is super small for a genny, it has a very tiny wick hole. I would recommend a thinner wire for this device. try 30g for this device, or even 32g. im not saying that it wont work with 28g, its just going to be very difficult. overall this device is going to be very picky for someone just getting into rebuildables. the aga or rsst would of been a better choice.

Thank you for the info and concern. I tend to dive into things head-first.

I have not killed any batteries. Most likely because i've been using partially drained ones to lower the risk a bit.

I'm going to chunk the wire i have and go back to the drawing board with some thinner wire and a larger rba.

Again, thanks for the info.
