[Resolved] Halo printed my shipping label and sat on my package for 3 days

Hi John,

Not always! :) As a few people have mentioned this has only been an issue in the last few weeks as we normally have very quick shipping. We are in the process of hiring for both the shipping and customer service departments but it does take some time to get people trained.


Just if I lived in NJ... I'd love to work for Halo, lol.

We have been getting this question a lot and I have seen many of the references here on the forum so I have been looking into it a bit myself, unfortunately I don’t have too much information for you. To be honest I really have no idea if the companies are associated as I am not privy to information about what other companies the owners may be involved in.

Is Nicopure part of Halo?
Noticed from my samples that you're located in the same town.

Does Halo give an ejuice allowance/benefit?

My cousin does IT. One of his clients was a Phillip Morris branch. According to him, the employees were allowed 1 pack of smokes everyday. Something about using their employee ID in a vending machine.

If Halo does something along those lines, I may consider relocating.

Maybe you should bring that up to your superiors.

My cousin was ...... he didn't get a free pack of smokes everyday; he was an outside contractor. The combination of no smokes and nightmare people he had to deal with for months, he switched brands as a middle finger to PM. Trying to get him to vape, but he's in Florida, so it's not like I can have him come over and convince him by example.
 
We are working on getting everything back to our normally very quick shipping time. We have made a few changes so hopefully this week we will be closer to back on track! Unfortunately the shipping confirmation emails are automatically generated when we print the shipping label which was fine when we were consistently shipping the same day but now that we are a day or two behind it is causing a bit of (understandable) confusion. Learning curve! :) As I have mentioned before this much of a growth spurt was not quite expected but is very much appreciated! We really appreciate everyone's patience and I personally really appreciate that for every one person that is not quite so understanding about a delay there are many more people that are understanding and help me calm the frustration :)

I understand that Halo is growing and maybe they didn't anticipate a large amount of orders, but it would be nice to hear some communication from the company. I opened a customer service ticket this morning and not even a peep out of anyone. Ordered a kit and more Tues morning the 7th. Just a quick note saying they're shipping on such and such date would be nice.

I'm expecting to be a regular customer for both hardware and juice, but am starting to rethink.

I hope they'll will find a way to compensate our patience. Running out of carts and juice! :(

I understand the growth, that is fine. I had the same issue this week..placed an order Tuesday AM the 7th and received a confirmation email that it had "shipped". Check USPS and it was accepted on the 9th.

While I do understand, something needs to be done regarding the shipping notifications as it is deceiving to the customer thinking they will get the package in 2 days only to find out 2 days later it finally SHIPPED.

We agree, the thing is, we expect this to be a temporary situation, we have doubled the number of people in our shipping and customer service departments, they are being trained as we speak so rather than just accepting that our response and ship time are now much longer we are REALLY trying to get back to the very quick time frame that it was just a few weeks ago. We really appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we work our way back to that speediness!

Just got a reply from my open ticket with Halo. It's just nice to know how your shipment is progressing. Much thanks to Diana for responding.

My latest order with Halo was placed Thursday May 9, 2013 10:08:33 AM EDT. Just checked USPS tracking here's what it reads:

Priority Mail®

Electronic Shipping Info Received

Yay!!
It now says:priority Mail®

So..it was a lag in the tracking system.

(?) My last package from them updated all weekend.
The only thing I'll add is that if you want something quick don't use First Class. Lately, in my experience it's been much slower that it used to be.
....and I'm already pondering my next order (or 2) from them...

I guess it all depends on where you're located. I'm 1 state over, about a 3 hour drive, so once the have it in their hands it's 2-3 days.

USPS's tracking service is the worst in the industry in my experience. Very slow to update anything. Then out of nowhere you'll see it's already been scanned 3-4 times. Won't see any other activity, then it'll either be "Out for delivery" or on your doorstep. UPS and FedEx are so much better with tracking. That's really a minor part in the grand scheme of things, but sometimes you need to know where it is and when it'll show up.
