Katz you can pour it down the sink guilt free, it isn't any worse than baby shampoo, dish washing soap, or body soap. Then either keep the bottle as a spare or recycle it.

Ummmm yeah... that is a bit different than the notice at the top of the DIY section of this forum...

" All items contaminated by nicotine extraction or e-liquid mixing must be cleaned or disposed of accordingly. Treat it as toxic waste - do not allow it to pollute the environment or remain unattended or unsecured at any time. Contact your local authority to find what provisions there are for hazardous waste disposal before you attempt any e-liquid production."

@clownballs ...i have 7 acres in a rural area with critters like rats , i'll dilute it and dump it ,maybe it'll kill a rat .Besides you are qoutnig from diy section ,Katz is talking about disposing of some unwanted juice ,not diy supplies .

Ummmmm....yeah....it is a bit different, you might say it's completely different. The reason why it is different is because we are talking about non-toxic diluted levels of nicotine, not pure Nicotine extract which is most often sold at 100 mg. That's why they use the words nicotine extraction because at that concentration it is toxic. That is why that notice is displayed in the DIY section of this forum.

Resellers of DIY supplies that sell Liquid Nic Extract go to an extreme to warn their customers of this as well.

For folks reading this post that may have missed their supplier warnings for Liquid Nic extract or missed the DIY notification and are looking to discard their DIY Liquid Nic extract, by all means dispose of it properly. Outside of that if it's under 48 mg, pour it down the sink.

Although this is a case of apples and oranges, certainly a good reminder none the less Clownballs. Thanks for sharing!
