So sorry to hear of your loss, Shane... My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of grief.

I really enjoyed reading your story... I lost my father in law to stage 4 lung cancer in 2012... We got incredibly close in the end of his struggle and I was his main confidant. What a touching gift to receive the purple Reo... I am sure you will treasure every moment with it.

My father in law also taught me everything I know about being handy and repairing everything around the home. My special gift was his workshop and everything in it. I remember him every time I am in there.

Be well, and enjoy the good memories that you have!

Funny you say that. Mine taught me everything around the house as well.Anything from hot water heater replacement, installing electrical equipment and plumbing. Saved me TONS of cash over the last few years of ownership. I always envied his handiness. Its definitely something I don't posses.

Sorry for your loss Shane. My Mom is battling breast cancer and she's doing fine right now thank God. Best thing you can do is pass on the things your father-in-law taught you to someone else in need.
