Just to ventilate - I'm throwing in the towel with the eGo-T - and , oh yeah - the eGo-C too. Wasted too much juice and gone through too many kleenex, paper towels and rags. They will leak. Never know when or why. Tried all the fixes found on the forum. Work great and are easy when the karma is good, then when out or at work they crap out for no apparent reason.

Thanks to all who have made numerous posts on this issue, but I'm hoping for more in vaping.

Next - I will try and at least use the batts, maybe with the Boge 2 ohms, the Resurrectors, the CE2's. Chiba tanks look interesting.

My best wishes to all those who have had no leaking problems (thought I was one for the longest time). But something has to be improved in the design.

I think it has a lot to do with quality control (or lack of) in China; hopefully a U.S. company will get in on it and produce some high quality gear at a reasonable price. Anyway, I've been reading a lot of threads & posts here, and it seems like a lot of people get enthusiastic about tank mods (I'm getting mod fever myself) but after awhile they get tired of dealing with leaks & tank carto issues and battery failures from mismatched gear, and end up going back to standard carto's-nothing spectacular about them, they just work when you want them to. I'm a huge fan of eGo type batteries (I have an Inferno) and I get good results with standard carto's, but I feel I need to at least try some tank mods, then I'll probably go right back to my trusty carto's.

Thanks for the input all! Yes the eGo-C leaks too. My leaks have mostly occured at the atty - batt connection, probably from failure at the tank - atomizer connection. Also have failures at the tank itself. Cannot put my finger on the causes, seem to happen at random even with consistent cleaning and tank replacement procedures. Yes, been through the silicone caps - they have leaked inconsistently also. The silastic condom merely slows and semi-controls leaks into your mouth - I'm not keen on having nic juice directly on skin or lips(!)
I LOVE this system when it works, convenient, compact, and appearance is a plus, especially in stainless steel. With GOOD juice (Boba's, Bounty Hunter, ecigexpress Premium Tobacco) flavor and vapor are great. I will continue to mess with these attys but put in my order to CCV for resurrectors to try. Next: Boge 2.0s or the Chiba tank system (I go thru a LOT of juice since the eGo-C is my latest best friend. The egos will always be a soft spot for me since they got me started on vaping and off the stinkbomb coffin nails. Ever notice how cigarettes always smelled better than they tasted? IMO ecigexpress Premium Tobacco gives me that good taste that cigs only smelled like and why I started smoking in the first place. Love that stuff....

I started out with the ego-t and had the same problems, from there went to direct dripping LR atties.. got tired of DOA and burnt tasting crap atties that were costing me a boatload so from there I went to strictly boge cartomizers, got tired of still having to top off often so I went to ego mega dual coil cartos - which work great but use a lot of juice. Didn't like how if I started topping off with the wrong juice or cranked it up too high on the voltage I would waste all that juice. Finally tried the smok tek dcc carto tanks which give me the vapor and flavor im used to with the emdcc's, no more topping off, and it doesnt contaminate its reservoir if I crank it up too high. Just take out the juice with a syringe and use it in the next fill, minimal waste - beautiful thing. They sometimes have them on deal of the day at madvapes. I usually go with a 3.0ohm on my darwin which works great at 9 watts, tried the 1.5ohm that it came with on my ego-t batt and it does the job quite well.

Different strokes for different folks. I bought an eGo-T and liked it so much I got the eGo-C head/atty. It's extremely convenient, and I've only had one specific type of juice leak out. And I'm usually running 100% VG through these. You have to pull light. Way light. I pull on cartomizers like they're hookahs. Your draw on the eGo-T has to be like trying to get a single sip out of a straw. Plumes of vapor, and good flavor so long as it's good liquid (AVE, ecoPURE, DK, DIY, tried so far).

I have to say, despite all my frustration with the Ego-T it's my hero, I've smoked 1 analog in the last 75 days and had been smoking 2 packs a day for 25 years, so I can't really trash the Ego to badly.
Having said that, I'm definetily ready to move up the vaping chain with some sort of mod, I've tried the carto tanks, and a few others, nothing has really impressed me to this point.
For now the Ego and Carto's have replaced analogs permanently...the search continues for the perfect PV.
PS...PureSmoker has a new device in the works that'll replace the Prodigy V3.1, I have a good feeling it might just be the one.
