Yup Thrasher here they come, but this one is a bit behind the times IMO. The DNA40 chip has been surpassed with more power and the ability to dial in different wire materials. The different wire materials is important to me. Though I can reliably use my VS DNA40 with various wire types it would be nice to have accurate temperature protection setup without having to 'finesse' it. I found it on the VolcanoEcigs website and some of the specs are different from what you have in your post. The ones that struck me are these, which are basically the DNA40 board specs:

1-40 watt output.
1-9V output.
15A continuous, 25A peak output.

The price for the mod on the website is $150 and the sleeves are $5 I think.

I'm not impressed. I preferred tube mods until I got my Reo Grand. Then I got the small VS and a Sigelei 150 which I think of as 'The Brick' :). Tubes are nice and I'm vaping a Nemesis right now along with the Sig, but I also really like the convenience of the box format. Either way a DNA40 mod at $150 from Volcano is not going to tempt me in any way, shape or form. But that's just me ...

Becuase the specs are for the pipeline pro, now if it uses the same chip as the dani you can stack batteries for 80 watts

Whats funny is is how many say its not enough, and for them it may not be, but several whats your setting threads show a vast majority still under 40 watts.

With what it costs to r&d higher end stuff like the pipeline/dani. Its not worth it to chase the high power niche
