Tami, I have had surgery on my hands and I have severe RA in both, I use a Innokin VV V3 and it is just a tiny bit heavier than your ego battery. I have other mods but this is my preferred mod at the moment. I really like the way it feel in the hand. fasttech carries them as well as many vendors in the states. This offers variable voltage and wattage.

Innokin iTaste VV V3 Passthrough Battery express kit

Innokin iTaste VV v3 Variable Voltage / Wattage 800mAh Passthrough Battery - iTaste V3 Battery express kit

$39.54 iTaste VW V3.0 7-in-1 Variable Voltage Rechargeable 800mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - vv-3.0 / white at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping full kit but will take at least 2 weeks to arrive to you

The battery is built in like an ego battery.

The other option that was mentioned earlier in the thread is the Rider Robust, this offers variable voltage.

Rider Robust VV Starter Kit [Robust Kit-full] - $59.99 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid kit with batts and charger

Rider Robust VV Starter Kit UNBOXED [Robust Kit] - $59.99 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid batt only

Mad Vapes White Box Mod takes a 14500 and is on sale for $7.70.
Smoke Revolt Merlin takes a 14650 and is on sale for $11.99.

And, there are lots that take an 18350.

ETA: crxess, is the Evic really that much lighter? Good to know.

Let me add to that (I just weighed it)

ProVari mini with an 18350 battery inside 4.5oz - no device on top

ETA: I weighed all of my mods for a review a while back and was surprised that the Vamo in the 18350 mode weigh ≥ the ProVari mini. It feels lighter. I think it's due to the Vamo being taller and a little thinner, it doesn't feel as solid or balanced as a ProVari. Which by comparison mine actually isn't. My Vamo is top heavy and falls over a lot.

If you don't mind me asking, which one did you get and which one did your friend recommend?

I got the Vtube Mini this week (First Time Vaper) because a friend recommended it to me. It was bigger than I thought. Turned out it wasn't the one he recommended lol. It was another Apollo. I like it though. It is huge, but the hit is nice and the battery lasts a long time. Two days so far and it seems to have a lot more in the tank.

The Rider Robust is a nice option for the original poster. Full featured variable voltage tube mod made from lightweight aluminum. Be aware though that if you choose to use anything above 4.5 volts for a length of time that the small 14500 battery will not last long at all. As long as you know what your are getting, it could be a good option for you. Here are two reviews:

RIDING WITH THE L-RIDER ROBUST - YouTube

:thumb: I own all three of the below mods and can recommend them as lightweight with a small form factor and easy to use.
______

V8 leather holder-lanyard.jpg

The Segelei V8 is a full-featured variable voltage box mod in the "gripper" form factor. Made from impact resistant plastic with a ruberized finish. This is about the size of a large smart phone, but thicker. I have one of these and it is a fine mod. I got the optional leather lanyard which is convenient for out-and-about use. This has a built-in atomizer and voltage meter. It takes two 18350 high drain IMR batteries to work, which I have found to last me all day. $30 for just the mod; additional $9 for the leather lanyard at Discount Vapors.

______

The VMod from Vapage is a mechanical bottom feeder mod that is small, lightweight, and pocketable. It comes in two sizes: a VMod 2.0 (14500 battery) and a larger VMod-XL (18650 battery). My VMod-XL is the first pictured above. $85 for either model. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzN9dQWsfR8

The VMod 2.0 has a 4 ml juice tank that fits inside the mod; the VMod-XL has a 9 ml juice tank. To work, you turn the mod upside down and squeeze the soft plastic juice bottle to feed an amount of juice into the drip well at the top of the mod. Then turn it upright, do a primer puff to feed juice into the bottom of the atomizer, and then vape away. After a few vapes, you will need to repeat the process to continue vaping. There is absolutely no leakage of juice. The 18650 battery on mine lasts two days of use, and the 9 ml juice tank lasts me three days before requiring a refill.

The Smoktech VV Gripper is a full-featured variable voltage box mod in the gripper format. Made of impact resistant plastic with a rubberized finish. Slightly smaller than the above Segelei V8, but same pluses of being lightweight and pocketable. Built-in voltage and atomizer meters. Uses a single 18650 IMR battery for all day use. $50 at Mad Vapes.

Sorry for not being able to recommend any Box Mods. I like having VW and/or VV for best control over my devices. Prefer not to use the 33Hz mods for smoother performance, though the Vamo is nice for High power with low ohm loads.

I'm also Left Handed so most box mods are Bass Ackwards for me.:glare:

Hi Does anyone know how many ML goes into the Provari tube?

478_0.jpgblue-chrome-ext.jpg

The Provari is a battery tube with a microprocessor, LED display, and a fire switch/mode control button. You would not put juice in the battery device, but you can attach nearly any juice delivery device you'd like that takes a 510 connector (most have this, but not those that use an ego connector like the Kanger T3 or Evod clearomizers which will need a small adaptor.

Here's a picture dictionary with video tutorials of common juice delivery devices: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...k-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

Toronto, Canada,
The iTaste VW V3.0 from Innokin lists weight at 59g 2 oz), and offers variable voltage and wattage - might be worth some researching.

:)
That's what I was thinking, the iTasteVV is very light, or you might consider a GLV Super Mini (Made in the USA) $100 not VV or VW though, made of aluminum and super light. The itaste VV VW would be the cheaper of the 2 at Fasttech.
