I don't know of any vv/vw mod that takes smaller than and 18350. Are there any?

Yes, there is the Lrider or VV RobustA. Like a mini lambo, here:
http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag...color_plus.tpl&product_id=1518&category_id=75

IF I understand correctly, the innokin still has to go on the charger, so you can't use it while charging since battery is built in to the device just like an ego twist.

The Robust uses an actual 14500 battery, so you can carry them around and replace as needed (same size as a regular AA battery if you need a size comparison.) but you can also charge it on an ego charger.

those Robusts are on sale now at link I gave plus theres some kind of coupon code or sale circulating around somewhere, maybe deals and steals?

And I may or may not be the person Ocelot referred to who uses the reos and I do have bad arthritis in my fingers, hands and wrists, and Provari was indeed a tad to heavy for me. I think a fully loaded provari mini would probably run around 5.4oz???

a reo mechanical is not VV but you can swap out the batts and the mini takes 14500s....iwth a low resistance shorty carto, or atty, it hits like a BEAST. they have a big following so I guess I"m not alone in loving them :)

My husband has an iTaste MVP. I just compared the weight to my ProVari Mini, and the MVP is lighter. It also has vv and is actually kinda nice. I had to try it, of course. :)

The specs say 5.2 oz... But to me it does feel lighter than most mods. Weird.

:banghead:

w/all due respect, Kristin, this is the New Members forum area. Most of these new members have never held or even seen any kind of PV or ecig.

Newbie questions should not be met with any head-banging on our part. We are veterans and trying to help them, right? :) Not make them feel stupid. I do remember my first day here, and I'm a reasonably intelligent person, but I must tell you I had NO IDEA what anyone was talking about, and even when my stuff got to me a nice member offered "phone support" to me. That is a fellow vaper i will never forget. Basically, he saved my life, because he helped me get started and off analogs. (thanks john in CT)

TPEREZ2013- the "provari" is actually the ecig/mod iteself. The hardware that you put batteries into, which in turn powers your delivery device, whether that delivery device be a cartomizer, atomizer, RBA, etc. So the provari tube only holds your actual batteries, it does not hold juice.

You will attach a carto or atty or tank to your provari, and that is what you will put your e-juice into.

Understood, but the new member who posted originally, has already owned and returned a provari. That being said, I wasn't headbanging to imply the poster that asked about liquid in the tube was stupid or wrong, I was headbanging in a generalized way out of disbelief that so many jump into this without a lifejacket (research) I guess I should have posted that with my emoticon. I'm new too. I'm not asking for kid gloves here, and I personally think asking how much liquid goes in a battery tube is a perfect example of someone who is NOT ready to venture into mod territory.

ETA: I'm not a veteran, check my profile. I've been here less than two months. In those two months, I've done tons of research and reading while using a crappy ego on it's last leg, so I would have knowledge before jumping in the deep end. As I feel others should do.

I understand and see your point of view. I am more like you, however, we are all different, and some people really like or require hand-holding and that is okay, too. ;)

I tend to over-research stuff, and as a newbie, I'm not sure that did me any good since I really didn't KNOW what I would like.
That first guy who helped me felt that even one more day and one more analog could be the one to eventually kill me.

In THAT respect, vaping on ANYTHING is the lifejacket.....so I got started before I figured it all out.

Thanks for helping new people start vaping! :toast:

Hi all,
I ordered a Provari Mini last week and ended up returning it because it was so heavy. I've had a few surgeries on my wrist and holding the PV made my wrist and arm hurt. I didn't realize how big & heavy it was when I saw pics of guys holding it. I did watch quite a few youtube reviews before purchasing...

Anyway, is there anything comparable that's smaller? I ordered a V-tube (mini) thinking it would be smaller but all the mods I've looked at that take a battery are about the same size... unless I'm missing something. :) I've been using ego's with clearomizers and kanger mini tanks.

Thanks! Tami

I love my Provari, but it would be nice if they came out with a smaller model. I bought an ITaste v v by Innokin, its a nice small variable voltage unit, not quite as strong as the Provari but it works very well and looks great. If you do consider getting one, be careful not to get the style with the magnets, people have problems with that type. They now have a regular 510 style, which seems to be easier to use.
