My original introduction: New poster, long time lurker.

a couple months ago, I decided to pick up a disposable (NICMAXX) and decided to give e-cigs another shot. I decided to just go ahead and vape the way I smoke, and there was such a difference between the effectiveness and flavor I couldn't believe it. Unfortunately, I burned that sucker up pretty quick and picked up a SquareSmoke and love the flavor even more.

Then I came back here. After several weeks or rummaging through sites, and finding Taste Your Juice, I decided to go ahead and order a "bigger boy" e-cig, the KGO. The order was confirmed and shipped, and I stumbled onto this little thread while continuing my investigation, Inhalation Technique.

I FOUND THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEMS!

I stopped vaping because it just became painful and it seemed like no matter how much I used it I couldn't get my fix. That's probably because I was vaping like everyone else smokes! I've been smoking analogs for 15-16 years now in the way you'd vape. No wonder I drink so many liquids and my mouth gets so dry. I confirmed my theory of my incorrect, long-term smoking with my fiancee because I've never asked anyone "how do YOU smoke your cigarette?" Indeed, I've been going about it all wrong the entire time. It should have rung a bell when my grandmother said "you don't really smoke the cigarette do you?"

So here I am, returning to the world of vaping with renewed vigor, curiosity and excitement over the developments during the last year alone. I am a menthol lover, but we'll see what juices are around the corner now that I'm doing this properly. Hopefully I'll be able to catch some contests or something to help bolster a collection, and perhaps the culture around Cincinnati will beef up beyond disposables sometime soon.

Currently on order:
KGO 1100mAh kit from Hoosierecig.com
Alien Visions Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice and Blend 4 (I love RY4,) juices, as well as some Mega LR cartos from Smoktek

Welcome, I just came back after vaping in 2010. That's when I joined this forum. I didn't stop analogs completely back then so I gave up. This time IT WORKED. I stopped on the 26th and haven't had an analog since. The first time in 35 years! I started the e-cig smoking it EXACTLY like the analogs, one per hour. I used 36mg nicotine as well. I have already been able to go down to 24mg. I bought a T-Rex ego starter kit and use catomizers, any ego kit is good. Cartomizers are important to me. I would have stopped in 2010 if I had used them. I was using the standard atomizer/cartridge setup then and not doing it correctly. I feel, and smell, ALOT better already. Keep vaping.

Welcome back!!! Vape on!!!
Thanks, going through more disposables as I move further from cigs. Getting me anxious to completely kick it.

You could never go wrong vaping...that's just my opinion though!
Trust me, I went wrong the first time. Actually, I went wrong by smoking in the first place.

Welcome back to the vape side.. We have flavors :D
Oh geeze yes. Problem is, I'm very scared to even try "sweeter" juices. Here's to the hope of further developments in tobacco flavored juices. (I'm excited to try the Oak Barrel Cider and Sweet Georgia Peach from epipemods.com. One step at a time though!)

Welcome back! I have a new KGO and I have no reason to look for anything else. This KGO is my first e-cig. Glad your happy with yours.
I was happy with my 510... except the battery life was crud in a bucket. I would drain both batteries and switch to a 4081 while waiting for the first one to charge. It was a little crazy.

Yeah, the cart/atty thing did a number on me too. Seemed like the carts never lasted long enough and every hour I'd have to fill another cart just to keep pace with my consumption.

Thanks for the open arms everyone.
