So i was recomended a Reuleaux rx200 with a Smok Cloud Beast tank, and went out and bought it.

The problem is am completely new to mods, and i cant get the damm thing to work proberly,

I got some Ti coils with the tank, but the Rx200 resets to wattage mode each time i try and use these.

Also i cant seem to find anything that works with the coils that came with the tank, they eiter get super hot and taste terrible or dont produce any vape.

If someone could tell me a settup with this that works it would be much appreciated.

To my knowledge the beast tank (tfv8) doesn't have a ti coil. Same for the baby beast tank. So you should be ok running it in watts mode. Also the coils need to be primed very well bc they're huge. It's best to drop some juice inside the coil before installing it into the tank. Than let it soak in the tank for 10 mins. While also puffing on the tank with the airflow closed to help pull juice into the coil.

You absolutley MUST prime the coil with some juice, but careful not to flood it. A couple drops in the coil and you're primed, but I strongly suggest filling the tank and waiting about 10 minutes before you start vaping so the wick is fully saturated. Also, the sides of the coils have suggested wattage imprinted on them. Adjust the airflow to about halfway, and start from there with a smooth, not forceful, inhale.

Ok, I have been giving it a lot of juice, and at least 20 min before trying.

With the recommended voltage it gets super hot and tastes terrible.

I have been using these, SMOK TFV8 V8-T6 Sextuple 0.2ohm Replacement Coils 3 Pack.

On the Danish site it bought them it said they where Ti but looking around I can see they are kantral :(

But anyways it doesn't really seem to work for me, can you recomend a good coil to get ? I really just want a smooth vape. Or a setting for one of the coils it comes with, can't really find a guide for them and the taste and heat when I use them at recomend setting is extreme.

Also I have been using vg with a little nicotine, but maybe it is better with something else ?

Recommended settings are just that, recommendations. As a good rule just start really low and turn it up till you like it. Yep, its that simple. TFV8 is probably not what I would consider a good tank for someone new. Its pretty much a wide open cloud machine. If your dead set on it then I would start that particular coil around 30w and just keep bumping it up till you like it.

In a way, I'm interested to know how low a coil can go as much as how high. I've turned down a few tanks/coils that need at least 50 watts.... It's not a set-up for me, from what I hear, I must say.
If I decide to vape higher, a tank is not my choice of atomizer really.

At one point you have so much coil that at low wattage it will never get hot enough to vaporize the juice. Just simply to much wire there. At the other end you would heat it instantly to a point where it basically scalds the juice. I personally run the T8 coil around 140w but it can go higher. At 50 it basically doesn't produce hardly any vapor. A lot of mass in there with the multiple coils to heat up. I run it at 90% VG with no problems

Your coil may already be burned , I've had this happen with mine. Usually caused by under priming and even had a few duds . Here's the basics of operation for this. Get that coil out of there and replace it with a new one. Prime the coils very well. Fill your tank and just let it sit for say 10 minutes. Now I usually start at the lowest "best wattage" the thing with this tank is its not for a beginner really . If you hit it tentatively it will get uncomfortable and burn flavor will be pronounced. When you get going on this tank start pulling and I mean pull! Before you even hit the fire button. Remember when you are usin a tank like this your pull literally keeps the coils at a reasonable temp while producing vapor. If you don't suck hard enough it will get very hot very fast and taste gross. My wife had this problem with her beast tank. It simply doesn't suit her style of vaping so we got her a baby beast which seems to work way better for her slow pull style of vaping. I love my beast but if I hit it slowly it will get suoer hot vapor and burned taste. At least this is my experience. Hope this is helpful.

The recommended wattage range on the TFV8 coils are very high. Too high in my opinion. I like the .15ohm ones at 80-100 watts and Smok says 120-180 watts. Start at 60-70 watts and work your way up in 5 watt increments until you find your spot. I like 88 watts (Back to the Future).

Also, the TFV8 Cloud Beast is a beast. You have to want a massive, hot hit to enjoy it. I use it but I have others that aren't so intense.

Welcome and glad you joined. Someone missed the chance to help you at purchase. Would not have happened if I was around. Best advice I can give is start simple and try to learn every basic part of vaping, then step up to advance ways of vape. Some folks inadvertently sell the novice advanced equipment which multiplies vaping complexities. The poor learner is flooded with too many variables and never gets the basics down pat. Your equipment is good. You can adapt your mod to almost any beginners tank.

Thank you all so much for the advice and the links, i completely agree the place i bought it from had no idear what they where doing and just sold me the most expensive gear they had. I came from using a basic e cigaret and wanted something with a little more power.

I have put in a new coil, primed it very well, filled it up using a AG soultion with flavour and no nicotine. And i must say its much better. I have tried turning it up slowly starting at 50w, but i still feel the throat hit is very hard when i get it up to around 90(recomended is between 100 and 150 w).

So maybe its just me not being used to it, but taking the hits like i have seen people do on youtube with this one seems impossible, and doing so even with a little bit of nicotine would problerly but me in a coma :)

Well, they may have sold you the most expensive thing they had but the setup they sold you is what I use (see my signature). It can be used and enjoyed.

I think if you watch some Youtube videos and set it up right, it will work for you.

It does work better and better for me, but i wont describe any of it as being smooth, do you have a coil recomendation thats more mellow then what i got now ?

Also do you know if theres an adaptor for the mouth pice ? Whitout making any dirty jokes around here its way too big for my mouth ;)

Remember those "recommended" power ratings are one, simply a recommendation, and two, usually inflated by the manufacturer because high wattage ratings boosts sales. If 90W is too harsh, back off until it's not. You are not doing anything "wrong" by vaping at a lower wattage, merely enjoying it at your own preference, which is all that matters.

None of them are going to be smooth like a Freemax starre pure or an ultimo. Just wasn't designed for smooth

There should be a drip tip adaptor in the box
