Reusing Clearomizers

What is the best way to clean a clearomizer?

I have been only using one juice per clearomizer, but I got some new juices in and wanted to try them out. So I rinsed out the clearo and it still smells like the old flavor? Are there any secrets to cleaning them out? Maybe teaspoon of vinegar in a gallon of water?

Any advice would be great.

What kind/model do you have? Some are not meant to be cleaned, some are made so you can break them down and clean the "innards".

Both the ego clearomizer that you can take apart(version 2) and the one you can't (ce4).

I figured I would try and rinse both of them, but they still smell like the old juice.

It takes several rinses with hot tap water...just rinse and repeat and repeat until you get there...at least that's my method. I have been known to just let them soak for awhile when I'm lazy.

A good soak in PGA, followed by a hot bath can also help with this.

i use coffee cups filled with hot water from the tap. diassemble and drop them in, run the hot water some more, let soak a few hours. shake and dry. i only use vodka now if it really needs it. i dedicate clearos to fruit, candy, or other like dessert or coffee, and a 2 for tobac. then hot water is enough
