I reuse my 10 and 15ml bottles all the time. I buy mostly 30ml now and it saves me money and room in my carry case.

To wash, I use warm water and dishwashing soap. Sometimes the bottle has a slight aroma from the last liquid but it goes away with putting the new juice in it. Never noticed a blending of flavor doing this.

I can't imagine having to replace all of my plastic bottles. I just rinse mine in hot soapy water. I guess there might be a slight smell in some after rinse and dry, but I've never had it change the new juice that I put in them. It probably helps that pretty much all I do is desserts like chocolate, vanilla, & caramel, and tobaccos - nothing that would clash.

I rinse with HOT distilled water and mix up the same flavor to put back into the bottle. This way I don't even have to re-label the bottle!
Ive just started doing similar today. As my flavor contrate bottles are becoming empty, I am filling those with the liquid I made from it. So at worst I end up with a drop or two of extra flavor. But for me, I doubt I'll notice it.

hmmmm I don't wash my bottles much ...just add more juice :D
but most of my flavors are pretty close to each other "flavor wise"... No cinnamon's or menthol's .
But when I do come across a smelly bottle ...baking soda & vinegar ....shake & let sit (day or 2) & rinse has worked .
The only bottles I have thrown away have yellowed so bad ....they just look yucky.
Rinse~ReUSE~RECYCLE !!!! even tho ...
I still fight the urge to buy a bunch of assorted sized Blue glass bottles & just chuck all the rest :D
that would be so cool to have everything in blue glass ....
then again ....the search for a specific flavor would be a PITA !

I can't believe how many people here use soap in their bottles.

The thought of soap residue on any of my vaping things scares me, the thought it may be in my juice terrifies me lol.

I reuse my bottles, I just pour some vodka in, let it sit, then rinse it out in pre-boiled water that I let cool to around 145F before I put them in it. That seems to get rid of the worst smells and I have never had flavours bleed through or anything like that.

It's the same way I clean all my vaping stuff, such as atomizers, tanks, clearomizers etc.

This is not an attack on you as I see these posts all the time. Why is so many EXSMOKERS that smoked in all them toxins for so many years are so paranoid now?

That, and with a good rinse and dry there is no hint of soap left. Same with my drinking glasses. I wouldn't want to drink soap. Luckily rinsing takes care of it just fine.

Actually, I'm with kellymcm quite a lot these days (no rinse). If I'm out of something (or close to out), I'll just mix up the same thing in the same bottle. Same with two flavors that are very similar... I don't care if there's a bit of Winston Churchill residue left in a bottle that I'm going to mix French Pipe in.

Because most ex-smokers quit taking in all those toxins for a reason.

With that said, even if their were a little soap residue due to not rinsing thoroughly, a little soap never hurt anyone.

Well for me Ive tested side by side same juice, same mix, in glass vs plastic. Even different plastics hdpe, ldpe, etc. Bottom line every plastic bottle i used had a signifigant loss in juice flavor after only three days vs glass bottles. Glass is just better and keeps juices fresher longer. Once I tested it and vaped the difference I sold myself on investing in glass. Its really that much of a difference. Night and day.

Ive switched to all glass. A ~$65 total investment but Ill never have any troubles washing em out, reusing em, leeching plastic into my juice, and far less flavor loss. Plus its a one off investment. One time uness I break a dropper, then I can just buy that part.

Im done with plastic. I just couldnt stand the work to clean em anymore and no tip ever worked. Ive done em all, vinegar/baking soda, alcohol, heating, freezing, you name it.

I say to each their own. If you are happy with plastic then thats ok. Me, I trashed em all to the recycle bin and I had over 100+ plastic bottles. Glad to be done with it. Now its just rinse and dry. Easy peezy. No fuss or muss.

Anyway, anyone have a link for glass syringes w/blunt needles ?:p

If anyone can smell/taste/feel that plastic or glass is better, be sure to use it! I agree that syringes are much easier/accurate for mixing.

Glass syringes are available here, but blunt needles are often separate.

I store things for medium/long-term in glass. I don't often mix more than 30 ml at a time, here are my preferred (plastic) syringes to keep at hand:

1 ml. For small test batches/samples, and for flavors. I feel much more confident measuring .04 ml on a scale that I can read, and be accurate.
5 ml. For nic, and flavorings. Take the needle off, and it's also good to suck up VG and PG into the bare syringe.
20 ml. Good for PG.

Always use Luer Lock syringes, it is bad to blow off a needle and splatter what you are using everywhere.

Plastic syringes are so cheap, I flush each one with near-boiling water, use them many times.

I DIY for friends, I keep dozens of small 5-10 ml bottles (sample size) in rotation.
