Hey all,

Somewhat new to posting on the forums, so I thought I would contribute a little bit. I recently ordered a Hello 016 carto kit from Madvapes, and thought I would do a quick review.

The kit came with the battery, a usb charger, 5 empty cartos (made by Bauway, more on this later), and a 5ml bottle of marlboro flavored juice (24mg i believe), and was only $32.99!

This is the first "mod" of any type I've used, not including a 5v passthrough I also purchased from Madvapes (which is great, btw).

The first thing I noticed pulling this thing out of the box is how well it's put together. It just seems like a very well thought-out device. The button works really well, is quite large but unobtrusive, looks really classy, and even emits an awesome blue light when you push it! The battery is covered in a very grippy, almost rubbery flat black coating that makes it feel great in your hands, and it won't slip out of your hands if you vape while attempting to do other things like drive, as my regular 510 batteries sometimes do. On the bottom end is chromed battery cap, and on the top is a regular 510 atty connection. IMO, it's just the right size. It's big enough to house a huge battery, and small enough that it doesn't feel like a weird gigantic mod.

Next, I hooked up the usb charger to my computer and let it charge for probably about 4 hours, well after the light turned green, but I like to give batteries a good charge the first time.

After it was done charging, I filled up a carto with the Marlboro juice (I use the condom method) and screwed it on. This is when I discovered I don't like Bauway cartos. The draw seemed stiff, they didn't seem to screw onto the battery connection the right way (hard to explain, felt like I wasn't sure when it was tight), I couldn't get a lot of vapor from it, and it tasted kind of burnt.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or there's some information about them I don't have, so I don't want to be too negative about this just yet, but in my experience so far, I'm not a fan.

So I grabbed one of the Bogetech cartos I had previously purchased from Altsmoke, and filled it up with the Marlboro juice. Wow. GREAT vapor from this thing. The amount of vapor is only slightly less than with my 5v passthrough I ordered with it. Taste was also good, better than with a regular 510 battery. I tried various juices with it, and all performed admirably. This thing just works really, really well.

Not only does it work really, really well, but it does so for a LONG time. I still haven't actually fully drained the battery, and I've been charging it every day or two. Vapor production doesn't really seem to drop off much midway through the charge, either. It is slightly better when it's freshly charged, but it's not that noticeable. Also, it doesn't take that long to charge, considering it just comes with a regular old 510 battery charger. I don't pay super close attention to it, but I think it only takes about 2-3 hours for a full charge.

I have some LR bogetech cartos in the mail, so I'll probably update this review after I try those on there, and I'm guessing it will be the most vapor I've ever experienced.

Overall, I am very pleased with this device, and with Madvapes. I don't really like the bauway cartos that came with the kit, but it's likely that I am doing something wrong. Bogetech cartos just seem to work a lot better for me (Madvapes also sells Bogetech cartos btw, they just weren't included in my kit). Madvapes service, shipping, selection, and prices are all excellent, however, and I will definitely do business with them again, and recommend you all do the same. This is a great device from a great company and I highly recommend it. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about it.

P.S. I have not tried the kit with the cone atomizers, but I have heard mixed reviews about them. Also, I don't like filling carts. Cartomizers are the future!

I agree. I buy my LR Bouge 510 cartomizers from ElectroNicStix and they are the best I've found for vapor production and flavor. They also last me a long time (4 weeks easy)with multiple refills a day.(eGo 3.7 volts)

They do tend to flood easier because of the way they are made so it does take a little technique to refill them. Dripping the juice down the sidewalls while rotating the carto works well. Then just let it rest on its side for a few seconds so the juice has a chance to be absorbed into the filler material and you are good to go.

Definitely worth the little extra effort and I don't use anything else.

Quick update:

I received my LR cartos from Electronicstix.com, but realized I accidentally ordered more Bauway cartos and not the bogetech ones I wanted!

However, I used these for a little bit, and the Bauways are growing on me. You have to drag on them differently than the Bogetech ones. The draw is a little stiffer and it runs hotter, so you have to take shorter drags, but you still get pretty good vapor and flavor from them. I still prefer the very easy draw of the Bogetechs, but I don't think I'll return these Bauways, because now that I know how to use them, they produce pretty amazing vapor, and the throat hit is unreal. I actually had to lessen the mg on my juice because the 24mg stuff just hits way too hard with these things.

Overall, I'm very pleased. I still prefer Bogetech cartos, but I would still recommend the Bauways.

Hello 016 + LR cartos = vaping bliss for me. Plumes of vapor, great throat hit, and good flavor.

I am a happy customer.
