This is a Kamry 1000, an 18350 mech mod.
As part of my collection, I have made two changes to it. I did not use the supplied drip tip, as the end is round, and I like flat drip tips.
Also I did not use the supplied tank, because my research has led me to hang my hat on the Aspire Tigon tank.
So, initially I was concerned about the supplied batteries, the values as displayed on my charger were different between the two batteries, and Their capacity was nowhere near the values on the wrapper.
Anyhow, running a couple of charge, discharge test cycles on the charger, and both batteries are now within 10% of rated values.
So first vape Impression... I was verydisappointed. Even with the same tank as my K1000 plus, the vape was nowhere near as nice.
So I decided to stick with the K1000 plus.
Following a bad night's sleep, I have a different point of view. My K1000plus went flat, and so once again I was using the K1000.
I started to appreciate the feel of the bowl...
And then I noticed that after swapping the batteries a couple of times, two things were happening.
First, the discharge time for the batteries was increasing, and the vape quality was improving.
And now, the K1000plus is relegated to staying in my truck as a backup, and although there is no difference in vape flavour, or vapour quality, the mod feels so much more comfortable in the hand.
I guess that the reason most briars and even clay pipe style has not changed over the centuries is simply because the shape works.

Kamry K1000 18350 mod
Aspire Tigon Tank with 1.4 ohm coil
Overlong flat 510 drip tip
Old Salts 70/30 custard liquid
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely. A beautiful simple mod that just works. Something that is different enough that other vapers come to talk about it.
And something that feels good and right. Something that gives a good amount of vapour and not a hint of harshness .....
Of course I recommend it
